Yea takes a lot more effort to go to a game than to turn on the television or miss it completely for church or some other silly place.

If the game is guaranteed a win, you're not going to miss much by leaving early. What you came for has already happened. That's the part I don't buy. Again, I literally watched Titans fans walk out of a game in which we were destroying a division rival. Why would you leave a game if winning (or lack their of) is the main complaint?
true to a point but I know for a fact, based on the same 4 seats almost always being filled by fans from the visiting city, that some of the brokers package the tickets with hotels... the whole trip and sell them. Titan fans, most likely, will not even be looking for those. I have no idea how prevalent this is but I know its a thingI appreciate the insight from all 3 of you. I didn’t know that was something the team did. However, I don’t think any of these comments are directed at season ticket holders.
My question is even though Titans sell a lot of ticket rights to brokers why can’t non season ticket holder Titans fans go buy them? If more non PSL fans bought tickets to the games there would be less tickets for visiting fans to grab, no?

If a fan spends the $$$ and takes the time to attend, leaving early in a guaranteed win doesn't lessen anything for me.
I stay to the bitter end almost every game ... I did in fact exit the 49ers game mid 2Q... I just could not sit thru another blowout loss... was like 24-0 by the time I got to my truck. I did at least beat traffic. If the game is guaranteed a win, you're not going to miss much by leaving early. What you came for has already happened.

that 4-4 at home included some horrible games to attend... the heat for those afternoon August games and the Indy game was just stupid.
and IIRC teams do control exhibition schedule to a point. afternoon kickoffs in August with no dome should be criminal IMO
Then the stadium was infested vs Indy & Bills to start the season 0-2 at home with three of the games being played in an oven.
only a spattering of Charger & Buc fans both Ws with goal line stands which was crazy. Then the Chefs infested the stadium and had some to cheer about but the Titans played well on O. This was as close as I came to having fun all season except for the obvious fun of the blowout W vs tarpkitties. Who do not travel and never have. Plenty of good parking for that game.
Then of course they played tight butthole with division on line vs cows, who dont really travel. Stadium slightly infested vs NO and Titans decided to mail that one in... so plenty of fun for the 10,000 or so from Who'Dat nation but not so much for Titan fans...
so lets see.... 10 tickets 10 days rolling into Nashvegas resulted in 1 leisurely blowout W vs imploding tarpkitties & a nice W vs Chefs... other than that it was pretty real turrible for various reasons
Moving the offense into the 21st century won't hurt either.play better, consistently, and they will come
half assing it the first half of the year every season isn't gonna cut it
happened in w17 in Houston... was pretty real sweet watching those cow fans rolling out earlyBut if they are winning why would you leave early? Unless there is an emergency it just doesn't make sense to spend money on tickets and then leave early.
That doesn't happen as much at the other 2 stadiums I mentioned.

Probably like people at my church leaving before the closing prayer, get out before everyone else gets to their cars so they arent stuck in the parking lot or downtown Nashville for two hours.Houston has some of the most fickle fans I’ve ever met. This city didn’t care at all about the Astros when they were losing 100 games a year now all of a sudden everyone is an Astros fan.
But that’s kinda my point. I’ve been in NRG when we are getting our teeth kicked in and tons of fans stayed. I was amazed at how empty Nissan was in the 4th quarter against Jacksonville.

Or trying to beat the crowd to Cracker Barrel.
Let's not pretend you know whether or not Titans fans leave lopsided games earlier than any other stadium unless you go to every game in those stadiums which end up being lopsided. But if they are winning why would you leave early? Didn't get to any of the final few home games this season, eh?Hasn't been a good atmosphere since like 2002.

Besides, if a fan is ready to go home because the game is out-of-reach, that's a choice they get because they BOUGHT the ticket. No doubt they were in their seat when the game mattered.
I think the issue with Vrabel is that he looks up in the stands and sees opposing fans — not fans leaving when the game is out-of-reach (which happens very few times).
Well I can’t speak in matter of facts but I can rely on my experiences in other stadiums. I can tell you with 100% certainty that there were a TON more Texans fans left in the stands when they beat us 57-14 than Titans fans left in the stands when we beat the Jags 42-20.
Leaving a game early when we are dominating and then saying you don’t go to games because we don’t win in nonsensical. Makes zero sense.
