Nobody is disputing that there are other issues. But you guys have been blaming the crap offense on head coaches (been through 3 in marys tenure) OCs (been though at least 4) weapons (been through a bunch) and line (been through a bunch).
At a certain point, you gotta look at the constant.
If Mary can only thrive in ideal conditions, he won't hack it in the NFL. Ideal conditions do not exist.
While i don't disagree with the last point, let me ask you this.
Which of any coaches or OCs have we fired (outside of LaFleur who wasn't bad just inexperienced) have flourished once they left? What WRs and/or RBs flourished once they left? Almost single person we've gotten rid of has been trash everywhere else. The argument was never "Marcus Mariota is elite" the argument was if you can protect him we can win. In games this year when we product him we drive the field and he looks good. There are only about 4-5 QBs in the NFL that can thrive in such a mess of an offense. Mariota isn't off-limits for criticism, EVER. But keep that same energy for when: the whole OL gets beat, the WRs that run poor routes, the DL not being able to stop the run, the special teams units, etc.
