And you're 100% correct about last season, but I guess some of us take nerve damage in the throwing arm more serious than others.
Ok, what was his excuse 2 years ago then?

Really doesn’t matter what i bust out, it’s not MM.
I suppose they should just give him the extension then and we’re set. SB should just start rolling in if the OL gets addressed.

Edit: you were making your next post as I made mine. I think we’re on the same page for the most part. Both OL and MM are to blame for the offensive struggles.

Odd good game? Take the blinders off.

Considering Mary looks like a real QB 2-3 times a year... those are pretty odd to see. He ain’t wrong.

“iTs tHe oLiNe” - yet Mary will hold the ball excessively long and take bad sacks when he has time. (OR FIND THEM HIMSELF) Mary’s only looked good against a pathetic falcons team this season. He was basically given a freebie against the browns 300 yards in flags.

Actually, when the line is good Marcus is good, when the line is not, hes bad. It's not really hard to see. Would you like a QB to be good when the line is bad? Absolutely, but dont act like it's all unpredictable.
No, you have it backwards... When Mariota doesnt sit in there like a duck waiting to be shot and actually plays like a NFL QB, the line is just fine.

The only game this season that Mariota did his job was against Atlanta. He passed the ball as soon as he had his hands on it. He anticipated routes and allowed the receivers to go make plays.

Then he reverted right back to typical Mariota, holding the ball, bouncing around, moving the wrong way, blah blah blah, same crap every game.

He made plays vs buffalo as well, but penalties and drops played into it as well as his own errors.

Sort of quick fat guy sucks yet the most ignorant fan base in sports thinks he’s great......says all you need to know

Sort of quick fat guys has had more than one good season...He’s had multiple, including pro bowls...Mary on the other hand..........Can’t even compare these two. Casey isn’t costing us games.

Exhibit one your Honor

The offense that JRob has built is NOT "Tough minded" at all. The Oline has been f&cked up on his watch.

JRob needs to own that and get it fixed. That means replacing players. That means firing K. Carter, Art Smith and Vrabel if he has to do that. I'll give JRob a pass on Mariota- he tried with him. IF Mariota ever had the potential to be a franchise QB, that was ruined with his tenure here. He is SO David Carr.

JRob and Amy need to get their azzes in front of the cameras and own this chit storm.

i'm way past need to vent stage. settled comfortably into apathy. who's ready for another 5 year qb bust cycle?

From the latest power rankings on the Rams:

NFL Power Rankings, Week 7: 49ers eyeing No. 1; Texans surge

From a regular-season perspective, Sunday was the low moment of the Sean McVay era in Los Angeles. The Rams' offense -- once the envy of the league -- was held to just 157 yards in a humbling 20-7 loss to the undefeated 49ers at the Coliseum. Jared Goff put up the type of numbers that would have looked bad even during his Jeff Fisher days (13-of-24 passing for 78 yards), his job made infinitely more difficult by an offensive line that has gone from team strength to liability seemingly overnight. And while it would be grossly premature to declare the Rams out of the NFC West race, the fact of the matter is, they're now three games back, with a head-to-head loss to division-leading San Francisco on their ledger. McVay has been hailed as a young genius -- can he use those brains to fix a broken offense before it's too late?

Has Saffold's move made both OL's weaker?

Put any QB in this offense and it's going to be a shit storm let alone a rookie, good luck. 2 guys are going to possibly cost JRob and Vrabel their jobs and if they don't see that good riddance. They are riding the fact they haven't selected "their" QB but in the end it's going to be the same with this offense staff they have in place. So yes we are going to come out in 5 years possibly worse off then now but on both sides of the ball.

Oh you mean the 1 playoff game in 5 years he got us to thanks to his defense and Kelce being out? Yeah...That game...I don’t deny Art is having growing pains..But we have tried multiple coaches, OC’s, drafted players and signed them (heavy on offense) and nothing works. Meanwhile...In Green Bay...hmmmmmm. Seems like LeFleur is doing good with an actual capable QB.
No I just used that play call as a reference for my argument. I can think of a lot of other plays as well.

LefLeur isn't doing that good according to Rodgers. In fact Rodgers is having one of his worst years statistically.

Lol. Let's refresh everyone's memory about how good Jake Locker was while we're at it.

I can give you a lot of other plays man. He's proven he can do it. Even this year in Atlanta and Cleveland. Those games had good game plans and play calls. It's also good to point out that they had the entire off season to gameplan for that game and then for the falcons game they had 10 days to prepare. That's not a coincidence. That is just showing that Art's weaknesses.

OMG! Out of 5 seasons you have A video of him throwing A tight throw...

Your case is proven!

or...

for every "tight" throw I can show 10 crap throws....
No I'm showing that he can do it when given the time and calling the right plays. Art's offense has terrible routes and play calls.

GB's defense is allowing 4 more points per game than ours, yet they are 5-1. Their offense isn't doing so bad.

Unless you watch the videos after the game and you see wide open receivers running all over the field and Mariota still holding the ball because he couldnt see the field.
