I've put it in my will for Mariota, Vrabel, and Arthur Smith to be the pallbearers at my funeral, so they can let me down one last time.
Haha. Sorry, couldnt help it.I’m speaking towards the future. Art was promoted for consistency for Mariota. Now that era is seemingly over, so he can go try to land a good OC and this looks like it could be a good year for free agent QB’s and draft prospects. Try posting something of substance instead of just being a smart ass

You’re right, but this off-season seems like a good one for QB’s. There’s talk Brady and Brees could hit free agency. I know they’re both past their best years, but if the plan is to draft a QB this year, who better to sit behind and learn than one of those two. Also, if Brees is resigned then more than likely Bridgewater is going to want to go somewhere and start. Instant upgradeHaha. Sorry, couldnt help it.
Obviously the recipe for success is a solid OC and a good QB. But if it was that easy everyone would do it and do it well.
Unfortunately, our track record suggests we'll swing and miss again on either or both of those moves.
Not sure why we always come out slow to kickoff games. This has been going on since Mularkey days dating back in 2016.
Cant blame the players, got to blame the coach or the O coordinator. I'd say they play a huge role why we come out pretty dry the first half of football, whatever it is it seems that no matter who the QB is, our curse of starting slow ways will not end anytime soon.
I think it’s just because we are a run first, run heavy team. Establishing the run usually takes time. Once the opposing defense wears down in the second half is when we start putting up points.
I don’t think it’s supernatural or due to preparation.
All Seattle does is run the ball but their passing game is elite.
Elite ? Their 11th which isn’t bad but not exactly elite, that said they’ve got that dude, umm what’s his name ... Russell Wilson, yeah that’s it.

My point is we need a good offensive cordinator. Our offense isnt slugish because were a run first team. Thats stupid.Umm...yeah. They have an elite QB. And their QB attempts way more throws on average than ours.
What’s your point?

Locker, mettenberger, Hasselbeck, Mariota. The scheduled starters for this decade, not good.
