At this point, it's starting to feel like we could win the 1st game, the game after a Thursday night game, the game after the BYE, the playoff game with the BYE and the Super Bowl.

All of those games have one thing in common, more than a week of preparation involved.

Problem is... all those other damn games!
Whiz knew that problem. He was undefeated with 6+ months to prepare.

Texans. I mean the people, not the team. They think they’re their own country, I’m sure they’d speak louder than those 2. Plus I thought people hated mcnair for being a racist or something like that.

San Antonioans don't vote in NFL owner in NFL owners meetings. Jones and mcnair do.

I could see Mexico city.

32 owners though. I’m sure even Jones and McNair can see what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
Jones accepted Houston as an expansion franchise.

I just don’t think either team loses anything provided San Antonio is the profitable market that the league thinks it is.

The other issue would be that 3 of those owners would be forcing their team to travel outside the country to play the Titans in their home field.

Would they be ok with that?

Keep in mind the revenue sharing.

If the owners think that Mexico city could bring in lots of money from Mexican fans, or London from European ones, they'll do it in A heartbeat.

You are thinking championships and the game first. They think money first.

Nashville is a viable city for the NFL but a new owner may look at the numbers and want a bigger pool to pull fans from, like Sacramento or St. Louis.

I think Portland may be another place as well...
Want to know how I know you've never been to Portland?

You know who else is excited about potential money from an NFL team in Mexico City? Kidnappers.

I haven't

But theres numbers in Portland from what I've read
A NFL team would do well in Portland. There would be lots of fans but the issue would be corporate revenue to consistently purchase box seats, rows of seats, etc. Our big corporations here are Nike, Columbia Sports, Intel, Providence and Kaiser hospitals. I am not sure the revenue stream would be enough. However, we got a pro soccer team and it's very successful and thriving.

A friend of mine just moved to Portland a few months ago. She said no one cares about football there. It's all soccer with some basketball sprinkled in.

Lol she wrong. Fans here are super loyal to the local pro teams (Blazers and Timbers). Trust me, people love football here. If we got a NFL team people would be as loyal and crazy as they are for the Blazers. Lots of Oregon Ducks fans but no one gives a chit about Oregon State Beavers.

Also, people care more about Blazers than timbers soccer. Lots and lots of basketball camps in the city and suburbs to develop kids.

When Mularkey got fired my opinion of him was rather good. I felt grateful for him because he made us a tough and respectable football team again after the abomination that was 2014 and 2015.

Now I'm resenting his entire tenure because left us with an O-line that can do nothing but engage in downhill power-run-blocking.

Maybe JRob is guilty of this too. He traded up for Conklin and brought in Saffold, both guys who grade highest in their run-blocking. And we all know how bad Henry is at offering protection.

Mariota wants to sit back and go through multiple reads to dissect a defense. That's great, but this line is incapable of giving him the time to do so. So we either need to rebuild the line with pass blockers or get a QB who isn't afraid to sling it.

....we can always go back to fINTSpatrick..

Cuz our only options are Mary and fitz eh

dumb logic

Most of this fanbase are like domestic abuse victims.

Cant get rid of Mary! The next guy could be even worse! We should extend him.

Three seasons of 9-7 is awesome! Sure beats those 2-13 days!
