I feel I'm in the middle, but since the option isn't there, I sided with moving on from 8. Because even if he balls out and is healthy all year, I still wouldn't give him a big extension. I'd tag him to make sure it wasn't a fluke, based on his overall body of work..

With next year being a solid QB draft, I'd be giving up all my picks for the top QB on my board if I was JR. Cost controlled, hand picked QB on a roster that is otherwise built.

You shoulda said the “disgruntled Mary Mamas” as in baby mamas vs the Mary Fairies . We could have a flag football game or something.
 
I’m gonna stay positive because I know if we make it to playoffs, he’s got the “IT” .

Yep. Especially considering next season we are basically getting 2 1st round talents(Simmons coming off injury).

Probably a couple more. Basically- anyone that does their job well, I'm good with. The rest can f off.

So you like this team. And you invest way too much time in it. And you probably invest way too much money in it.

And there is this player that is crucial to the teams success. The season and foreseeable seasons ride on his shoulders. And by all accounts, he is a great dude. No one has ever said anything bad about him as a person.

I can't comprehend how anyone wouldn't be cheering hard for him to do well.

We do, but we know what we're getting. We're at least curious to see what someone else can do.
