Fence rider here.

I support Mariota if he’s killing it.

I’m ready to dump if if he continues the injury/sub par play.

If tannehill comes in and kills it, draft another QB and give tannehill a chance to fight/let the rookie learn before thrown to the fire.

“...if he CONTINUES the injury/sub par play.”

That says it all right there.

I dont think there has ever been such a divisive player on the Houston Oilers and/or the Tennessee Titans. For that alone, we need to move away from him.

Once again listening to local radio interviewing a national NFL analysts...

"what about Mariota in Tennessee"

"people are trashing Dianne(sp) for saying there was a competition, yes the players and coaches are saying in public there is no competition, but behind closed doors there is a different narrative. She has sources and those sources are telling her there is a competition. If you are looking for a franchise qb, Mariota is not it."

to sum it up
“We need to move away from him” because he is decisive?!?! Wtf?!?!

Yep....the organization should move on just because a bunch of moronic fans argue about him vs the backup!

There are not even words for this.

Divisive not decisive. It is always funny when someone tries to express intellectual superiority and screws it up.

Well, that and he isn't a franchise qb, if it is questionable, the split fan-base helps the decision.

The defending of Mariota is next level lol...Way worse than the haters. I was happy to see that he played better vs the Pats. It’s a great situation to be in, but lets face it, he needs to. He hasn’t earned an extension for good reason.

Like others have said you need a third option, those who are just rooting for the best thing for the team. If Mariota has a big year and shows he can do the job great. If not, move on.

Lighten up Francis. It’s called auto correct. It happens.
Good way to deflect from a horrendous post though.
Any organization that moves on a player based on the fan base is as idiotic as the post.

I know it was autocorrect. Just pointing out if you are going in that direction you should always double check your post.

Also, you are taking it too seriously for someone saying lighten up Francis. That is for those sitting on the fence. If he was playing like Rodgers and divided the fan base, who cares. If he is someone that even the front office is entirely unsold on and he divides the fan base, makes the decision easier.

The fans don't matter. If he performs like Mariota, we move on. If he performs like a franchise QB, tag him and see if he can do it again before hooking a lead anchor to the ship. If he does it again, extend him.

Didn't even use the right graphic smh

Dude

Legit just burst out loud laughing

In all fairness, @520 had you beat on this one. He hated Mary before his last year in college, and did not want us to draft him. He is the original.

I was doing that.

And 520's opinions don't really count. He's accidentally right about this one.

Athough- as much as I didn't want us to draft Mary- I did change my mind on him during 2016 when he played well.

But then he became garbage again. So. Back to masturhating on Sunday afternoons.
