I dont think there has ever been such a divisive player on the Houston Oilers and/or the Tennessee Titans. For that alone, we need to move away from him.

Once again listening to local radio interviewing a national NFL analysts...

"what about Mariota in Tennessee"

"people are trashing Dianne(sp) for saying there was a competition, yes the players and coaches are saying in public there is no competition, but behind closed doors there is a different narrative. She has sources and those sources are telling her there is a competition. If you are looking for a franchise qb, Mariota is not it."

Didn't have consecutive winning seasons for over years or a playoff win prior to MM8. If he stays healthy and balls out, extend, period.
 
That 2 point conversation sealed his fate. Both Robinson and Vrabel had a clear message for him-stop taking shots. He was actually hit right on the knee. In mid air. In a preseason game. Tannehill will start soon because he's the superior passer and there clearly is no future with Mariota.

Doubt what changed things for us was the leagues single most unproductive qb

Three months in the last two years mary threw for more than 4 Tds. That’s gotta be an unmatchable stat

Do you really believe all this shit you say? Look, Tannehill isn't going to start unless(or until with history as a predictor) Mariota gets injured. No, I don't think Mariota is a franchise guy, but Tannehill isn't either.

Derek Carr was 2/2 for 40 yards and a TD. Eli was 4/4 and threw a TD. Josh Allen was 9/11 and threw for over a 100 yards. Not very good QBs on not very good teams, yet they kind of had their way against vanilla Ds. Mariota achieving 1 scoring drive out of 4 with 5 YPA is absolutely awful.

You're crazy if you don't think the decision makers notice Tannehill making Anthony Firkser look like Vernon Davis , while Corey Davis, the guy who supposedly looks spectacular in practice, looks like a regular guy while having to catch Mariota's shitty throws.
