This is great for our chances of winning the division, but it sucks that we'll literally never beat Luck.

The timing of this seems very strange, is there more to it than his injuries?

I dont think it is more to it than injuries, I just think the injuries were taking a toll. IN his press conference he said over the last 4 years his life had basically become a cycle of injury, pain, and rehab, and I can see how that takes a physical and mental toll on someone.

Sorry Fam got here as fast as I could. F*** them Colts! We better win this damn division!

AMFJLL

Andrew "Mother ****ing Jake Locker" Luck
I said this in shoutbox. . . He pulled a Jake Locker. Got tired of injuries and rehab and just gave in.

Luck had a lot more to give up though... At 29 years old he's leaving maybe 200+million dollars on the table... I know life isn't all about money but his spirit must REALLY be shot to give up what he could have made in the next 5-10 years.

Just was announced on college game...listed group of injuries as reasons. I am glad I was wrong on my initial thought on this....he is just tired of being hurt LOL.

Deal with that Colts fans....Luck was no Manning, and nowhere near McNair. See you all soon.
Grigson is a moron and basically wasted the career of the best QB prospect in a decade. Started to build an O-Line around him after years of injuries. What a waste.

I was picking titans second behind the colts this year. Now we have no excuses, we have to make the playoffs. We should win the division, but even if we don't we should get in a wildcard easily with the colts out. Now 4 wins in the division should be easy.

That is true but he started drafting OL in 2014, wich includes the likes of Thornton & Mewhort.

I do admit that Grigson was a terrible GM, but I don't think he's to blame for Luck's early retirement.

If Luck is injury prone and mentally fragile, then it is what it is.

Grigson was good enough of a GM to constantly beat us, right?

Grigson was a huge bust of a GM. And what kind of argument is "he was good enough to beat us"? Lmao.

Luck and Hilton were obvious picks. Luck, Fleener, Allen, and Hilton, have all been at least solid NFL players, none of the late round picks made by Grigson had any NFL success. Luck and Hilton are the two main pieces of the Colts’ offense to this day, and were definitely great picks by Grigson. Grigson drafted two solid tight ends in Fleener and Allen, but it was a bit of a head scratcher to draft two tight ends so early in the draft. This was arguably Grigson’s best draft as the general manager of the Colts, yet only two of the players are still on the Colts, and only four of the players are still in the NFL. Newsome, Jackson, and John are no longer with the team, and were unimportant players in their brief stints with the team.

This was not a particularly strong draft by Grigson, especially considering the fact that he traded a first round pick for Trent Richardson.
