So apparently when Luck retired, it put the Colts under the 90% cap spend rule. Which is why they let Luck keep his money. To help keep them closer to the 90% ... it’s also why they extended Brisket, bc they needed to hit the spend minimum
Luck retired so the fans don’t care this season anyway (outside the norm fairweathered fans anyway) but that would really p1$$ me off as a fan to know they’re are purposely spending the league minimum.
