Yes unknown.

Luck came from a great background, Stanford educated and has made millions upon millions while in the NFL.

Luck leaving millions on the table doesn't shock me at all, considering he's not flashy and probably doesn't care about future earnings at all.

Whether he retired because of his physical injuries or because he doesn't have the passion to play another down in the NFL, you, nor I will never know.

Therefore I'll label his retirement as "unknown" for right now.
He wants to be able to walk when he is my dads age (61).

Nothing wrong with that.

Understood, but the whole "suck for Luck" campaign did not produce too many results for them IMO. We sucked during alot of his career also. but overall what did he do for the Colts...couple of playoff appearances, one conference title game I think (feel free to correct me on that since I am basing this purely on memory).

My point is this...they can draft a "top tier" QB next year, but it is still a crapshoot. In 1998 there was legitimate debate on drafting Ryan Leaf vs. Peyton Manning...Colts won that one, just not sure that they won this one here.

Happy Retirement Andrew...best of luck in your future endeavors, so long as they do not involve suiting up in a football uniform for a game against the Titans LOL.

You do realize that Luck has played with bunch of scrubs throughout his whole career? Ballard Colts roster is much better ran Grigson Colts team.

I dont think it is more to it than injuries, I just think the injuries were taking a toll. IN his press conference he said over the last 4 years his life had basically become a cycle of injury, pain, and rehab, and I can see how that takes a physical and mental toll on someone.

Luck played for 2 seasons with torn labrum, he beat the Superbowl champion with lacerated kidney and the Titans with a concussion.

Of course its health

I can understand people being shocked and upset but booing him on his way our was classless and a low blow.

Hopefully they are in QB purgatory for the next 20 years
Agree.
Colts fans are pretty obnoxious.
Sadly......same thing would have happened here if it was MM in the same situation.

Hell, half the people here rooting for MM to get hurt ... don't act like this fan base is any better

Late to the party but wow. That’s a surprise and a pleasant one for the titans.
No need to worry about getting the monkey off the back, it just left.

Also, how many fantasy teams just got trashed?

Other note: many leagues probably still have Mariota or tannehill available!

Tom Brady still playing at 42. Luck retires at 29 lol
It's sad TBH

Kid was well on his way to building a HoF career

Its funny when the VYs and JLs of the world walk away early, but this dude was legit and the game stole his health.

Still, as a Titans fan this is like when a king died in the year 980 and it gave your side an opening to thrive as a tribe..
