Honestly, if I were a Raven fan I would be pretty confident as well. I would have every reason to believe we were the better team and should win the game.

They are Mike Tyson and we are hoping to be Buster Douglas. It can happen, that is why they play the games.

You are a little paranoid my friend. Nowhere in my post did I say your team shouldn’t be confident or doesn’t have respect for the titans. Based off message boards I have been on the overwhelming majority of raven fans on them clearly feel this will be a walk in the park for the ravens. My opinion on this game sounds spot on to me

Of course if the rolls were reversed and it was the Titans with the 14-2 regular season record, and the #1 seed in the AFC; while the Ravens were 9-7 in the regular season and the #6 seed, Titan fans would not be saying it will be a 'walk in the park' beating the Ravens right? Oh what was I thinking. GTHOH!

If rolls were reversed, I wouldn’t be on some other teams fan board trying to convince them my team would win the game...and use like 30 posts to do it...because I have a life.

If you can't figure out what I just said regarding reversal rolls, then I obviously cannot help you. It is as basic and common sense as it gets.

Common sense should tell you that it doesn’t matter what would happen if the roles were reversed. We are not talking about what ifs, we are talking about reality the fact that the titans are a big under dog against the 14-2 ravens. Now whether you want to admit it or not the media and most raven fans that I have spoken with give us basically no shot to win. Myself and most titan fans know it will be a big upset if we were to win which is exactly what I wrote in my original post. I can tell you this much, if the roles were reversed I would not be in your ravens forum trying to convince you we are going to win

I really feel like Jonnu Smith or Raymond is going to come up with a big play for us...they are the guys who get forgotten about when teams scheme to stop Henry/Brown/Davis.

Also, ravens WRs argument? Dude you are really grasping at straws. We get it, the ravens are good, but your WRs are all replacement level. Can you imagine if the Ravens had picked the right WR Brown? Just wow.

Okay , I posted something about the "history" the Titans have when they have faced a #1 ranked Defense in the playoffs on the Titans at pat's thread.
Titans are now 2-0 in the playoffs when facing the #1 ranked defense. What does that have to do with facing the 14-2 ravens?

Well , the last time the Titans played a playoff game against a 14-2 club the Titans won.
The Titans are 1-0 in the playoffs against 14-2 teams ... Hopefully 2-0 after this weekend.

Touchy aren't we? Perhaps you are new to NFL football and how it equates to fans and what we do. In case you've been under a rock for well since forever, fans of opposing teams whether it is the regular season, and especially come playoff time, discuss the upcoming game and players involved in said game of the team that fan roots for.. I know shocking isn't it!

I am not trying to convince you or anyone else here that the Ravens will win. In fact, truth be told I've said quite the opposite in the sense that I said unlike the three other major sports, football when post season comes around is win or go home. So, you're incorrect with your assessment that I am trying to convince you all that the Ravens will mop the floor with the Titans. None of my post suggested anything close to that. As far as the Media goes, what the hell do you expect them to say if one team is 14-2 and the #1 seed, while the other is 9-7 and the #6 seed???!! I mean DUH!!!
