He will be plenty tired this week.. cool

Tired? Henry is more than capable of carrying the rock 30+ a game not to mention breaking tackles is something he is very good at. As the gm goes on he gets stronger, his stamina is incredible for a big man. Not sure if you trying to talk smack or really think he’s going to get tired. Either way these posts are going to get bumped, not the thread for it.

No doubt there's a lot of things which have to break the Titans way to keep this one close.

The Titans need a big play early to spark some confidence. They need Pees to confuse Jackson and the Titans DL to do enough to keep him uncomfortable. Tannehill has to hit a screen early to keep that Ravens DL in check and Henry be effective enough so the Titans can stay in their play-action offense. And, obviously, the Titans LBs have to limit Jackson when he decides to take off.

I like where this Titans team is right now. The OL seems to have hit their stride which means Henry playing at even a higher level. We're getting some injured guys back when they're needed most.

Saturday night can't come fast enough.

I think that big play would have to come from the defense in the form of a turnover in the first quarter as that is where the Ravens are the most dangerous because of how quickly they can overwhelm a team early. If the Ravens continue their trend of of building double digit leads in the first quarter, the Titans are not catching up with Tannihill throwing the football as he is likely going to be facing intense pressure at that time.

The keys for the defense are (1) can they force turnovers, particularly when the Ravens are in Titans territory, and (2) can they limit the Ravens to Field Goals instead of touchdowns so the offense has the potential to try and keep up. The Ravens are going to move up and down the field as the Ravens have way too many weapons at their disposal for the Titans to handle, so the defense has to limit the damage to as little as possible.

With Brown out, that task became much more difficult

Just 1 hour ago Brown said he still has another day to see how he feels wouldn't rule himself out just yet...

Another tweet said someone misquoted Vrabel when Vrabel said he was likely to play, they quoted he was unlikely to play.. or something like that. I wonder if the newest tweet is based off the misquote.

edit... no, new tweet with injury report with Brown out, so it wasnt based on a misquote. That is pretty odd to me.

Wyatt just posted that Brown has been officially ruled out.

The whole presser is video taped so I would think it would be easy to figure out what he said, right? I’d think if someone misquoted him another reporter would have corrected it.

To you Titans fans who think I came here to trash talk and as some said, 'proclaim the Ravens dominance'. Hoping for a good hard fought game. Nothing more nothing less. However, there was a thread here called "Stopping Lamar Jackson", where a couple of you saying stop him by hurting him and snapping his ankle. Keep it classy Tennessee!

Not condoning hurting a player but you’re foolish to come on here and say that after what your team did to Chris Johnson.

Yes, you would think so. Of course I am sure you have seen plenty of false reports that spread all over before being corrected. In fact, recently it was reported all over that Garrett had been fired, then later it was retracted because, actually, he had not been at that point.

You must not remember the 2008 divisional game. Probably a bandwagon ratbirds fan.

This board is funny. I came here to read a little bit and the stuff being posted is insane. I dont care what jackson does next year and beyond, right now to think jackson cannot beat you with his arm is just childish and dumb. Ravens win 33 - 17
You’re only speaking with about two people.

Of everything I’ve seen, for the titans to pull off the upset, they need to force Jackson to throw.
In the 2 losses the ravens have this year (and a couple other close games) he was forced to throw way more than his avg att (right around 20).
None of the 5 games he reached 30 throws did he he reach 300 yards and only avg a little less than 2 TD tosses.

Ravens are heavy favorites for a reason but if there is a weakness to the ravens offense, it is Jackson’s arm and the passing game.

You misunderstood the injury part.

We all know Jackson is the key to the offense. Injuring him is payback for that cheap dirty s**t the ravens are known for and did to the 08’ titans, specifically Chris Johnson.

That injury would help but I don’t want the injury because it effects the outcome of the game, I want it because the dirty ratbirds need payback for doing exactly this to the titans (probably many more teams).
Turnabout is fair play. F**k the ratbirds.

No what I do remember is that was 12 years ago, and never any concrete proof from the NFL or anywhere else condemning the Ravens for playing 'dirty'. In other words, Grow the hell up! Bandwagon? Hardly! I've been a Ravens fan since I worked field security for them back in 1996 or their first season in Baltimore. EPIC FAIL on your part.

I think the Titans will win this one. But if the Ravens do win, there’s no way it’s by more than one score. If the game is within 3 at half time, I’d say the titans have a 75% chance of pulling off the W.

Why are you here? I mean- really. Why? Not much of an exchange.

Watch the tape of the 09 game and you’ll see CJ getting his ankle twisted in the pile. And he immediately comes up limping and out of the game. So there’s not much love for the Ravens. Especially with the Ray Lewis acquittal from years prior to that. Ravens have a dirty “thug” history. Undeniable. But yes- that’s in the past. So don’t act so wounded or indignant. What do you expect when you come to an opponents forum?

Buy hey- Baltimore has some kick azz crab cakes. Last time I was there I had some from “Mama’s on the half shell”. Killer stuff.

Man, you really have nothing better to do lol.

The commentators of that game pointed out what the Ravens were trying to do to Chris Johnson. I remember the play where Lewis and Suggs were on CJ's back and Ed Reed trying to bend CJ back as far as he could. If it wasn't for a Titans offensive lineman, CJ would have suffered a more serious injury.

It was no coincidence that soon after that play, CJ left the game. A game where he was running all over the Ravens.
