Based on the QB list coming out(obviously waiting projections and teams in front of us) is deep enough to draft without trading up. Burrow, Fromm, Eason seem the popular choices. Use the rest of the picks on some OL and last a K.

If we could get value for lewan, I'd be totally cool with that too. Overrated ass clown.
 
Too much talent on the team to do any of the choices offered. Somehow, we need to shore up this OL (for the life of me I don't understand the bad play), and we need to find a signal caller. The D is very good, and we have talent on the other side of the ball too. This is the best team we have had in years. I really don't understand the level of play to this point. A few made field goals in game situations would have our record much better than it is. This team should be a 10 win team at the very least. It's so frustrating to watch right now.
 
I’m fine with the talent on this team. Are there holes? Sure. But we’re too close to being legit roster wise to blow the whole thing up. I don’t think it’s a talent issue, I think it’s a coaching staff issue. A serious offensive scheme change is desperately needed. In more ways than one. I mean, you’re telling me that Conklin and Saffold can go from freaking All-Pro’s a couple years ago, to not being able to block a fence post? I’m not buying it.

Marcus cant even complete bubble screens. Hes had some good protection, and still sucks. Oline is def an issue but he is the biggest issue to this offense. He is really broken and lost. His career is over.
 
We have a lot of talent—too much for tanking or a rebuild. We need help at OL and clearly a new QB.

the best plan is to draft a QB. Draft OL or fix in free agency. Hope a young and cheap QB can succeed with the strong supporting staff you have created.

This...I think the best hope is to draft a young QB, shore up line, new off coordinator...and put the money you save on a qb to use at the other spots. If you hit on a qb you are set up very well.
 
No QB performing well behind this chit performance level of our OL. We need to do WHATEVER it takes to fix this FIRST. This is the same problem plaguing us since the Schwenke days.
 
Personally think our biggest problem is offensive scheme/play calling. We have plenty of talent on that side of the ball imo.

I think we'll be shocked to see the impact of just average O line Play.

Think about it. This is a top 10 D. Score 21 a game and the Titans are 6-0.

This week, 16 teams out of 26 scored 20 or more points.
 
We are an average QB away from being competitive. The last thing we need to do is rebuild or blow anything up.
 
I only have two people that I would be open to trade.

Walker

sucks to say, but his attitude is pretty bad. I don’t know if it’s locker room stuff or just a disappointing season, but it would be nice to move him while we can get something for him.

Casey

He isn’t as effective and is getting older. Would be nice to get away from his contract and get a bit of youth there.

I don’t see either happening though

Walker is an interesting one. His value is probably pretty low due to his age but if a team in the hunt later this year either has a TE injury or just hasn’t had one, he could be worth at least a middle round pick (4/5).
I would also be alright letting him go because we have some TE depth. Smith and firsker should do fine and because of his age, life without walker is comin* soon anyway.

I could see a walker to the Pats type of trade.....
 
Qb via draft definitely and guards+C via draft free agency. Its gotta be. It's not a full rebuild just a few key positions that are below average. Also scaffold needs to step the f up. Your not in the NFC anymore, they hit harder in the south.
 
With a competent QB and Kicker we are 4-2 right now. This team is much better than it currently appears. Dont blow it up.

2020 Free Agency: starting OL, QB to compete, vet WR, Kicker
2020 Draft: QB, OL, OL, OL, LB

Free Agents to let walk: Mariota, Conklin, Woodyard, Austin Johnson, Sharpe
Free Agents to possibly bring back: Derrick Henry, Logan Ryan, Tannehill, Dennis Kelly
 
We have to fix QB next year. Cant waste any more years of the elite defense.

Draft QB round 1, bring back Tannehill, and bring in another vet to compete.

I'd be happy with a situation that looked something like Fromm, Bridgewater, Tannehill.
