No rebuild needed. The only thing needed is a QB. We have all the weapons needed to have a offense capable of functioning.

Other things needed is a backup RB and new OL coach.

I'll give Arthur Smith the benefit of the doubt considering he has damaged goods at QB.

Next draft should be offense heavy within the first 3 rounds. QB, OL and a RB or TE since Walker is probably gone.

But with our defense the way it is and when Simmons gets back (hopefully next season) this defense will be even better, therefore no need for the slightest rebuild.

This is a top 10 defense. No way in hell are the Titans doing anything to screw that up though there is always some turnover season to season.

To me, it's 100% about upgrading QB. Defenses are keeping 9 in-the-box which is making it difficult to run. Until the Titans have a QB who makes defenses pay for stacking it in, nothing will change.

I wish it was that simple. The OL is a wreck and isn’t going to improve- especially under this OC and OL coach. I like the D- don’t get me wrong- but I’d def entertain trading away a few pieces on that D to get the OL back in working shape. We need an intelligent nasty C in the worst way and we are STILL sucking at G. Nothing improves significantly until that happens.

I’d be good trading Davis and Casey. I think they’re the only 2 with any real value.
Both should be able to get at least 2nd round picks.

Anyone else is either key to the rebuild (byard, Evans, AJ brown, a few others) or they aren’t worth chit.

Mostly this team is ready for 6-10 or worse and that’s probably good for about 6/7 in the draft.
Based on the QB list coming out(obviously waiting projections and teams in front of us) is deep enough to draft without trading up. Burrow, Fromm, Eason seem the popular choices. Use the rest of the picks on some OL and last a K.

I don't think you have to trade away what's working in order to improve the OL.

There is plenty of cap room. The Titans can upgrade during free agency if you trust JRob to bring in the right players.

Which is the point, right? He brought in Saffold. Saffold sucks. He extended Jones. Jones sucks. He at least didn't throw a big contract at Conklin.

While I will agree conk hasn’t gotten back he is not the larger issue with the line. Both guards and the center suck....

I agree. My highest opinion of JRob has been that he’s slightly above average. And that was only after our last draft. I liked what he did with that. I’m hoping that draft was SO much better because he was relying on his scouts and not Lake whatever his last name was. JRob is learning the ropes on the job. I’m hopeful he’s getting better at drafting, including the management of draft capital. I’m not in favor of dumping him in the next 3 years. If we’re not a contender end of next year, I’ll change my tune.

I’m scratching my head as to why he extended Ben Jones. He’s average at best and you simply can not excel having an average C and QB. So I’ll give JRob a chance to get an above average QB.

With the D playing at this level, the team cannot afford to tank, not after 6 games. They will be in every game this season that the D does not give up. What they need is an attitude or possibly scheme adjustment in the O-line (no more zone blocking?) and to play Tannehill, though I wouldn't mind seeing what they could fetch for Adoree Jackson and Mariota to try and help with the O-line. Also, they could put Kelly in at a guard spot and see how that works for them.

If they were seriously trying to show they are attempting to correct the situation, they should announce the firing of the oline coach immediately. Go with Tannehill as qb, because Mariota has proven beyond a shadow of doubt that he is not a franchise qb, and hire a new oline coach.

Our OL is one of the most expensive in the league, they're not going to trade for anyone else this year. Fix the OL coach first

I think we'll be shocked to see the impact of just average QB play.

Think about it. This is a top 10 D. Score 21 a game and the Titans are 6-0.

This week, 16 teams out of 26 scored 20 or more points.

Tanny doesn't have to light it up but just be efficient and I think we'll see a much more productive offense.

Exactly what I've been saying. Even "just average" QB play could've been the difference in a couple of games already this season. Yes the OL has issues. Yes the run game has issues. But when your QB is throwing the ball in the dirt at 10 yards out and taking a bunch of unnecessary sacks you're really shooting yourself in the foot.

Well finish somewhere near pick 12 I'd say. We won't have any capital to move up. We will end up taking the third or fourth best prospect. Unless we are very lucky, he will have major red flags in the scouting report. We will start him for 4 or 5 years, watching those very same red flags never improve. Eventually, the defense will go away, via retirement and free agency. Rinse and repeat.

Tis the Titans way.
