Except there is no competition. Tannehill can’t “win” the job if there is no competition.If he chooses to start the loser of a competition, he is a bad coach. I don't think he is a bad coach.

Something along those lines in the video, though at two separate times. The reporter with him agreed. But he reiterates that MM is the starter.
Sounds to me like he is saying don’t be surprised if Tanne looks good in practice, because he has always looked good in practice, but that hasn’t always translated to on the field play.
In other words, be carefully making bold predictions about Tanne based on a practice
