There's only two QBs to elevate no name receivers and get them paid. Brady and Peyton Manning. So if it was a one year thing I'd pick Brady. If it was a permanent thing it would have to be Mahomes, but the jury's out on Mahomes rookie year was it a fluke? Will defenses catch up to him? When they do I'll be curious to see how he responds and evolves his game.

It takes a team. Brady doesn't have 6 SB rings because of intangibles. It's because he's had 15 Top 10 scoring defenses in his career. On the flip side, Rodgers has had 2, and won a SB with one (the other year , his defense gave up 50 points in the first round). You can put dozens of QBs past and present with Belichick for 18 seasons, and they'll have a lot to show for it.
Trust me I'm no Brady fan but the guy is not a choke artist, you can't teach that. So far in Mariotas career when in a position to choke the game away he hasnt albeit one game.

The only reason MaHomes was MVP is because the league was feeling the pressure to not make Brady the winner AGAIN.

Huh? In the regular season...Brady wasn't close to being MVP! Mahomes or Brees had exceptional seasons! Hell, Rivers and Goff had better numbers than Brady if you're looking at completion %, yards, ypa, td, int, td:int ratio, qb rating, qbr.

MaHomes had all kinds of weapons at his disposal and couldn't make it to the Super Bowl. Brady has had offenses full of journeymen for what seems forever and yet still keeps adding rings.

Mahomes had Tyreek Hill and Kelce at TE. Brady has had HOF TE Gronk for quite some time with either pro bowl wr Wes Welker or Pro Bowl wr Edelmen. And he did have that other HOF wr for a bit...Randy Moss?

Both have had elite weapons!

Wasn’t who would we take it’s who’s better

Brady still better. Until mahomes does it for more than a year

So if Mahomes puts up better stats again but loses to Brady again...and Brady wins the SB and gets another ring...again...

...you'll change your mind that Mahomes is better?

guess we'll find out just how much of his success was Kareem and Tyreek... lol

not to mention his 'Rookie Year Standout' - since technically it was....

Or at least says something about play predictability with Henry in the game.
Yeah because Teams stack the box 45% of the time because of Henry lol. You guys are ridiculous. You don’t remember Dion Lewis running the rock? The obsession is strong.....9

dion lewis' involvement is not really relevant in this stat...

when the RB in on the play (Henry) doesn't catch passes in the backfield, the defense doesnt respect it, or need to.

he does seem to have improved a bit. i wouldn't hesitate to toss it to him in the backfield this year.

GB had fat ass Eddie Lacy in the backfield and teams weren't stacking the box. They only do so if they don't respect the QB. And they aren't going to respect a QB who throws 25 passes over 16 yards

mariota was injured and not throwing deep last year, so yeah it makes sense they'd stack the box when the RB who doesnt catch passes is in, he's almost guaranteed to be running it every time.

I don’t know why it’s ridiculous to think that defenses can guess when run plays are coming. Lewis or Henry we’re in the backfield and the QB was known to be hurt and/or Gabbert so it would make sense to stack the box more anyway.
I’m suggesting that teams know we are primarily running and even down and distance becomes predictable, so teams were good at guessing.

Not really sure what you were assuming I was obsessing over with that post anyway.

He had the highest sack rate, as well as the highest % of pressures which resulted in sacks in the league. You are being naive if you honestly say that he plays well under pressure .
you are being naive if you say that he doesnt

i expected you to come in here and come up with some reason to discredit it though, it's what you do. all bad no good from u, all the time
