While we could debate, the purpose was for them to choose one guy versus the other...not based on scheme fit....but who is a better qb to win the SB in 2019.

There's a lot of QBs that consistently put up good stats but never won anything. Marino, Romo, Rivers are some that cone to mind right now. I think stats are a good indicator that a QB can play qb, but to win championships for a QB it takes more than stats they have to have the intangibles.
It takes a team. Brady doesn't have 6 SB rings because of intangibles. It's because he's had 15 Top 10 scoring defenses in his career. On the flip side, Rodgers has had 2, and won a SB with one (the other year , his defense gave up 50 points in the first round). It’s a regular season award. Mahomes was hands down the MVP last season.The only reason MaHomes was MVP is because the league was feeling the pressure to not make Brady the winner AGAIN. MaHomes had all kinds of weapons at his disposal and couldn't make it to the Super Bowl. Brady has had offenses full of journeymen for what seems forever and yet still keeps adding rings.
