That’s great you cherry pick stats

what about our entire secondary? And the most part Ben Jones? Murray, salvaging the DGB fiasco? Orakpo?
**** outta here.

Ben Jones sucks. He's had one good year. Orakpo was decent nothing great. Murray was a great addition, but he only was good about a year in a half before he broke down.

The only good thing I like about Jon Robinson is he doesnt hold onto mediocre to trash players for a long time. I like the fact that he admits his mistakes and moves on from guys. However, I just dont like the fact that he hasnt used an earlier pick on a QB the last two years, knowing that Marcus has been on a decline. Tannehill is a good upgrade but he should of had a better plans on preparing us for a franchise QB. And not just an insurance journey guy.

Other than that, he isnt a good GM. In fact, I wouldnt rank him that much higher than the old idiot Ruston Webster we had.

Walker is by far the best offseason FA we've ever signed in Titans history, and that was made under again, the old idiot R Webster.

JRob is average. Said it when he blew the "king's ransom" draft capital. Got roasted by some fanboys here for it.

I'll say it again. He's average, not horrible. He got Vrabel which I think is the right fit. MM8 sucking so bad REALLY makes the Arthur Smith hire look dumb though. And WTF was allowing Mularkey to hang on to Robiskie. He needs to INSIST his HC's pick quality OC's- especially since Vrabel is a "hands on" defensive guy.

A still relatively new GMs job has had some hiccups.... you dont fucking say. Every week this fanbase just finds more & more ridiculous things to cry about. Hes already turned the team around when we had NOTHING. Very few GMs have had the good start he has had. But god forbid we dont win the superbowl on his essential "rookie GM contract" gtfoh.

With all those picks we've had.. youd figure would be SB contenders by now.

It's great seeing all these NFL backup QBs come in the flourish. They make the team look so much better and elevate the play of the rest of the team. i.e. Kyle Allen, Daniel Jones, Minshew..etc

Mary is bringing this team down in more ways than just the Offense.

Pretty obvious this whole "Patriots of the South" thing is not going to work, especially when we keep signing players the Patriots let go for more money than New England would have paid for them. I do like Logan Ryan though, as he's the only one that has really worked out.

I hate rebuilding as much as the next guy, but this team is hot garbage on offense thanks to Vrabel and Robinson accepting mediocrity in the form of Arthur Smith and bad OL management. I'm sorry, but we don't need a guy like Mike Vrabel, who had no head coaching experience prior, to be the guy leading this team. Hell, he wasn't even that good of a defensive coordinator. And Jon Robinson? Drafting bust after bust after bust with our top picks. Or trading up so we have a total of 4 picks in one draft. WTF? Extending Ben Jones, signing Dion Lewis (who sucks) and Butler (also sucks), not addressing the OL issues when it became known Lewan would be out for the first four games, the list goes on and on. I really don't know what the team can do now to fix things. Luck and Foles being out should at least put us in the top two of the AFC South, but after just 3 games, we're clearly last.

Just wanted to get your guys' thoughts. Being a Titans fan right now sucks. Seeing QBs like Mahomes and Jackson lead explosive offenses leads me to believe it's time for an overhaul. Back up the money truck to Lincoln Riley and his staff. Do whatever it takes. Especially if he somehow turns Jalen Hurts into a good passer. We need a bright offensive mind, not some guy who rose through the coaching ranks because he was a Patriot and is a "player's coach."

College coach?

:disappointed:

Another one of the huge and unforgiveable knocks against Mariota. He does not raise the play of anyone and brings down the level of play of most everyone.

Thing is, when Mariota would, obviously, break from the Robiskie offense and cut loose... he had the "it" factor.

We all could tell when that happened, the offense would be uptempo and just, different. And Mariota would be successful with it - which explained his 4th quarter comebacks.

He almost played with abandon and cut loose.

Now... he doesn't cut loose and we see he is broken.

His career is done unless he can find that in him once again.

Thing is, that's not something you can count on on a consistent basis.

That would be perfect for a backup player.

what do you mean flourish?
Just like a real garden doesn’t it take longer than 1-2 games to “flourish”?

If that was the case, MM flourished by your standards after his first game.

Why do people do this? 1 game, no matter who the opponent was or even how slightly above average (if actually above) they are, based on that small sample, and suddenly these guys are made men.

Sorry dude, but your entire post was trash on this one.
Bet 2-3 if not all 3of those guys end up traveling salesman backups if not less by their 5th year in the league.

**i always feel I need to express this. This is not a comparison to MM. this is a comparison to the average QB/rest of the NFL.

I think I’ll add more to my last post.

Note that #trubiskytrash is a thing.

I think he was a “made man” his rookie season.

While MM sucks, other teams are going through the same thing or at least comparable QB issues.

Yep. Carr is in the same boat. Winston too.

Gonna be lots of competition for signal callers this draft. I hope we lose out and go 1-15.

Should be some
I think it’s important to remember Mariota isn’t JRob’s QB. Every GM in the league wants to build around their own guy.

He’ll get his shot next year.
Should be a decent class to draft a QB this year. We will have to pay a price to move into position, but I think we have a good chance of bringing home a stud.

Maybe I used the wrong word, I am so so sorry.

Bottom line, a second overall pick, 5th yr QB shouldn't be the 6th best QB in his own division.

Completely subjective and MM sucks so that bar isnt very high. That means that of those 5 you rank ahead of him, they could still suck and be better than MM.

I think it’s just as easy to see that Watson sticks around and all the other guys disappear shortly (Brissett, Foles, THill?, and definately Minshew)

Foles beat the GOAT in a SB as a back up and was named an MVP lol.

We’ll have to wait and see about the others.

Yea, the other 52guys on the roster didn’t have anything to do with that 1 game.

Let’s pretend for a second that Foles has been given starting opportunities before.
Philly all pro season followed by a bad enough season they let him walk away FA style.
Then he started so well in his 1 year in Stl, he got a backup job in KC.
Then on his second backup stint in Philly, he played well enough (including said SB performance) that they’d rather have injury risk Wentz.

Now let’s also pretend that SB MVP for a QB basicalliy means they either did great or they had no idea who to give it to. (I’ll let you look up the performance of some previous SB MVP QB)

One game, even on the biggest stage, does not make you a starter.

Foles sucks, so does Goff. Both of those two players flourish beacause of a really talented roster combined with two great HCs in the league.

Not if we finish 8-8. I think would probably have to be drafting at a top 5 to land a stud of a QB - not that I dont think theres going to be good QBs to be had in later picks but I just dont trust Jon Robinson hitting on a QB for us if we do end up picking in the middle of the draft.
