I just saw Jake Fromm without a helmet on for the first time. I've changed my mind. No way can a guy who is 22 with a hairline like that be an NFL franchise QB.

You see the pre-game bit? He's basically like, "I luv fishin, huntin, eatin steak and taters, and my momma. And footbaw."

@SalmonSlayer You still down on Herbert? So far three very big games and he has shown up and played very well. Just curious.
Last night was probably his best game ever. On the road and he made good passes to keep drives alive. Only blunder was a terrible int.

Last games vs Washington and Washington state were won by the legs of CJ verdell and Hibiki-Loiko. Overall, no he is not the best QB in college today, top 10 but not top 5 conversation.

Burrow just played great game vs Alabama. Dolphins and Cincinnati fighting for him for the #1 pick

Crazy how much he has improved since last season, he is playing absolutely unreal. Went from a QB that was gonna be a mid to late round pick when the season started to a lock top 3, probably 1st overall pick in the draft

It amazes me to see how much things can change so quickly with QB prospects.

Tua is easily the #1 QB after his freshman year. I would not be surprised if he’s now the 3rd or 4th off the board.

Just flat out proves NCAA Football is not a developmental league for NFL-ready players.

NFL and NCAA football are actually pretty different... so a lot of the top players just aren't good beyond that style of football.

Except that’s not the reason he will drop. So, in this case it does not prove your opinion.

We should stop relying on drafted college players fixing the team.

Especially QBs.
Where you getting a QB from then? Only picking up UDFA QBs? You do realize that most every starting QB was at one time a drafted college QB?

You need to stop and think...

Just drafting a QB is almost irrelevant no matter how highly they are touted or ranked in college.

If a team is unable to appropriately coach/train a QB after college, then it has zero business wasting a draft pick on one.

How many highly rated QBs has this team gotten from the draft that even remotely worked out - I'll allow The Oilers era, as well.

Almost all the best QBs have been FA acquisitions.

So... I'm not wrong.
