Have you looked at Easons numbers in his pac 12 games. He has not looked good at all. Under pressure he has looked bad. I have no interest in Eason at all. Couldn’t beat out Fromme at Georgia.
Numbers never tell the real story. The receiving talent in Washington is terrible. Only reason Fromm beat out Eason in Georgia is because Fromm was winning and they didnt want to change, not that Fromm was SOOO much better.

Also, Eason took an entire season off, I think he plays better and better as the year goes on.

I am willing to watch and see. Will definitely let the year play out. But we have drafted a UW qb who had all the tools but never looked that good in games...and was a major fail.

Great year to need a QB. You dont even have to be in the top 5 to get a good prospect!

I am a big Eason fan, but I would be happy with any of Eason, Burrow, Tua or Herbert. In that order.

After watching Eason yesterday, I am impressed. That performance was something I could get behind.

Me as well, but I would put tua last. Not enough arm or and stature. Same for fromme, but I would prefer him over Tua

As a Georgia fan and knowing Tua and Hebert will likely be off the board...

Eason has the arm, can really spin it. Bad break at Georgia. IMO. Has all the tools EXCEPT, I don’t see him being as capable at reading the defenses as he should be at this point. IDEAL SIZE, PROTOTYPICAL POCKET PASSER. Could be his year off causing the majority of his current issues along with a horrible receiving Corp.

Fromm has the brains. Can read the D. Is decisive with his throws, almost always knows where he’s going and reaches his third and fourth reads when given the time. SMALL HANDS, ALMOST IDEAL SIZE. RUNS A PRO STYLE OFFENSE, GREAT GAME MANAGER AND HAS BEEN CLUTCH WHEN GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY. ACCURACY, . His current issues are simply due to a very young but talented receiving Corp.

All that being said...

Tua is going first, Hebert is going second... Of the group left... I’m going in order Burrow, Fromm, Hurts then Eason.

Being honest and not just the homer I could be here, Burrow has the tangibles of both Fromm and Eason. He’s also lighting it up. Hurts is also putting up great numbers but I think most of that is simply due to the athletes OU has around him a lot of yards after catch. He’s a run first guy who can throw, but isn’t the best passer around.

In my "in no way an expert" opinion, I feel the current draft order will be:

Tua
Hebert
Burrow

Then a crap shoot between Fromm and Eason with Hurts being the clear 6th best. I personally like them in this order:

Eason (I feel he has all the attributes needed)
Hebert (Very close 2nd to Eason in attributes)
Burrow (Again, similar to both Eason and Hebert but I havent seen much from him yet)
Tua (I dont like smallish QBs who my or may not be a product of outstanding talent around them)
Fromm (feels like a Trubisky 2.0)
Hurts (no more dual threat QB who can also throw)

I like our chances to get Eason and prefer him overall.

Eason - all the attributes, none of the production.
Herbert - nice arm in a QB friendly system with poor defenses.
Burrow - continues to impress. Looks like an NFL QB and performs like one.
Tua - has the arm talent and intelligence to be one of the greats in the NFL. Anyone who says anything negative about his stature, arm strength, or release is an unadulturated idiot. Ankle injuries are worrisome.
Fromm - Great instincts and vision. Weaker arm. Could be game manager to master conductor.
Hurts - one of the best college athletes ever. Slow delivery. Can’t read defenses.

I don't really understand why people are acting like Eason's stats are so terrible. He's completing 67% of his passes, averaging 8.5 per pass and has 16 TD's and 3 picks.

I mean, he isn't going to win the Heisman, but it isn't like he is completing 50% and throwing 1:1 TD/INT's like Jake Locker his first 2 years of college.

Most of them just don't like Eason so that's a convenient excuse. If you put Tua on Washington he wouldn't have the numbers he has at Alabama. To truly evaluate a qb you should never look at stats other than completion percentage. That's really the only stat that matters.

Originally voted Fromm but I’m onboard with burrows.

Another guy that hasn’t been mentioned is Sam Ehlinger.
I know he’s part of the defense optional Big 12 but he’s doing what he’s supposed to. Although he’s a Junior so he may choose to stick around another year for potentially a smaller QB class in 21.

If guys that make one read and take off scare you, then Same Ehlinger should scare you.

Herbert is not in a QB friendly system at all. It is heavy run offense under Cristobal. And Pac 12 defenses are actually a lot better this year.

Great Value Tim Tebow? Really?

Sam Ehlinger sucks.

Not in love with the guy either but he’s at least as good as some of the “listed” names on that list.

I guess the question should also consist of, at which point in the draft do the titans NOT take a QB?
Like if the top 3-4 QBs are taken before the titans pick, are the QBs left bad enough to pass on QB first round?

Man, if the don't have a QB on the board they love and have a chance to take a Gross-Matos or Epenesa or maybe the RB Swift or someone that could immediately help, I'll be really disappointed.

The biggest problem is I have 0% faith in the Titans Staff developing a QB. So what you draft is what you get until the coaching staff proves otherwise. Every QB since McNair, what we drafted is what we got, outside of Mariota progressing on his deep ball (shortly everything went to s*** after the nerve injury)
