Not impressedI will leave you with this one........80 yard jet ski bomb
WATCH: Jacob Eason shows off impressive arm strength, connects with a jet ski
Yeah so then the Titans wouldn’t be competing for a QB in the draft with Washington - only Miami and Cincinnati. But then again Titans will still win a handful of a games and be in the middle of the pack while those other teams are actively losing.
We ain't gonna be in range for Tua.
Id be thrilled with Eason. Fromm or Burrow are at the top of my list too.
But we gotta keep losing. Broncos, Bucs, Dolphins, maybe Chargers, maybe Bengals, maybe jags, maybe raiders... Lot of bad teams in the market.
Eason, fromme or burrow. One will be there for sure. I think fromme will fall at combine. Like Tua, people are doubting his arm and not crazy about his size.
Fromm is Chad Pennington Marcus is Alex Smith. Hard Pass. if the argument against Marcus is "being better than our past QBs isnt enough" then we shouldn't accept "being a better passer than Marcus" is enough. Either you get Tua or Burrow (less than a 10% chance at this rate) or you sign Tannehill to be the bridge QB and set yourself up nicely for Lawrence, or Fields next year.
and no more Washington QBs.
2020 is the right year to need a top QBHonestly, it was pretty obvious that Young, Locker, and Mariota weren’t going to cut it in the NFL. Those were desperation picks. Just chose the wrong years to need a “top QB”.
I was thinking about this today and it's SO true. How many top draft picks have been great in college and then come here and just sucked? It's crazy to think about. If the QB isn't already near-perfect coming out of college, he will end up sucking here.
This team doesn't develop or coach up individual players well... almost never have.
Because colleges don't care about developing players for the Pros... only about winning any way they can.I was thinking about this today and it's SO true. How many top draft picks have been great in college and then come here and just sucked? It's crazy to think about.
Fromme, eason or burrow. Herbert is ok to, but i have a feeling we will have a no duck policy in place
I am super high on Eason. He appears to have an NFL skillset and will most likely be the 3rd or 4th rated QB in this class.
This means if we end up around 10th, we can trade down in the 1st and still get him, plus add draft capital, maybe even another 2nd round pick.
1st - Eason
2nd - DL or OLB (best available)
2nd - Center
Fromm may not be the most athletic guy with the biggest arm, but there's a reason he's beaten out guys like Fields and Eason who have better measurables - he's got it between the ears and he's a gamer. I love his competitive drive and the fact that he's a 3 year starter. Even without an elite arm, some of the throws he makes are incredible. Watch a Georgia game sometime and see how accurate his ball placement is. Sometimes he will throw to the back shoulder in perfect coverage and still complete it because his ball placement is so good.
The only thing that worries me is that he returns for his senior year if Georgia doesn't win the National Championship - which is looking more likely after this last week.
I would also be elated with Joe Burrow. Either one of those guys would look fantastic in two tone blue.
This is spot on. He's a big dude with a big arm but even in a weaker conference he's not putting up the numbers or playing like you'd think someone with his skillset could. He reminds me of a little more athletic Mettenberger.Have you looked at Easons numbers in his pac 12 games. He has not looked good at all. Under pressure he has looked bad. I have no interest in Eason at all. Couldn’t beat out Fromme at Georgia.
