Tore his ACL two months ago. He might be good. Too bad we won’t find out until 2020 at the earliest.
Tough to argue we’re trying to make the playoffs in 2019 with a pick like this.
Of course I do.You realize the draft is about long term solutions right? I mean I thought that was pretty damn obvious but I guess not.
Of course I do.
Like I said, we won’t find out a thing about the guy until at least 2020. Maybe he’s good. Maybe he never recovers and his long-term prospects are just as bad as his short-term?
Weird risk.
Here’s a fact though. We didn’t get better in 2019 today.
What?! Most teams didn’t pull him off their boards. 11 teams did. And, Fant and Lock? Get out of here.
Titans fans complain about not taking Myles Jack (and the risk his knees wouldn’t hold up) or Jaylon Smith because of his injury. Both regarded as top 10 talents in the draft that year.
Then they do it and they still complain lol
Could be healthy. Won’t have a chance to participate in camp, preseason, or rotate in early. That’s not true. Recovery times vary for everyone. ACL is 8-12 months. He could be back for the tail end of the season.
Gonna be a while before we see him on the field and get to fairly judge this pick. Talents there, surprised we went bpa, sucks it won't help us this upcoming season though.
Edit: least we didnt take Ferrell @ 4
Could be healthy. Won’t have a chance to participate in camp, preseason, or rotate in early.
He’s likely useless even if healthy in week 11. Evans missed camp and couldn’t crack the lineup until midway through the season. Davis missed camp and was in and out of the lineup all season.
Expect 2019 to be a wash for the kid. If this is a true “future” pick, there’s no sense in bringing him back when he’s that far behind.
