Gone are the days when Ruston Webster was ALWAYS the last to sign his 1st round pick. I mean it was literally 3-4 years in a row we were the last team to sign our picks - sometimes it rolled over into training camp. How did that guy even get the GM job in the 1st place!?

The one instance we don't have to worry about him being in camp on time is the time he won't need to be in camp.

:hugelaugh:
In that case, probably could have waited until halfway through the season.

Great question

@titanfanatic any thoughts?

"far far ahead of the average person in his recovery"

declines to say they wont just leave him on the 53 man roster. if he isn't on the active roster he will go to the PUP/NFI list

PUP/NFI list rules: "A player who finishes the preseason still on the PUP list can then be placed on the regular-season PUP list. Such players must sit out the first six weeks of the regular season. At that point, teams have a five-week window in which to allow the player to begin practicing; from the day the player begins practicing, teams have an additional 21-day window in which to decide whether to activate the player to the 53-man roster. If either of those deadlines pass, the player must remain on the PUP list for the remainder of the season.[1]"

Sounds like things are progressing better than expected so far. Just don’t want to rush him back too soon only to have major setback later.

anything lately on how his rehab is going?

I remember them saying in July/early Aug his process is going much quicker in a good way than Vrabel or the staff expected

Love it, he may not play this year, but he also may end up being the best player from this draft. For the first time Jrob went bpa instead of need.

actually, he happened to be spoiled this year..... for our need, the BPA just so happened to be available at 19
