that miss when Sharpe was wide open 1v1 on the outside.. embarrassing

it wasn't even raining at the time.. how do you miss that?
Hard to know who's fault that one was. I assume Marcus bc of context clues, but dont know for sure. I dont believe it was just a bad throw, I think it was one of them reading the play wrong.

Seriously. Even Sharpe looks like he could be a good receiver if he had an accurate QB. Getting open downfield vs a CB who teams want to trade the house for. Mariota hit there, but missed him at least twice on other potential big plays this year. Let alone the other receivers that we have.
That one Sharpe caught with Ramsey draped all over his back was amazing. I think Ramsey even touched the ball. I still cant believe he caught it.

The Mary faries will only see the obvious if Mary fails spectacularly on an offense with a first ballot hall of fame as OC, hc, and all ten other starting positions.

I found it funny before. But how anyone is still making excuses and defending Mary now half baffles half enrages me at this point.
Remember ore draft people tried to say we need Mary cuz he won’t need an all pro team like mett

Now look lol

There's nothing Mariota can do to make Mett not be a used tire salesman in 2019. That ship has sailed, sunk, and is at the bottom of the ocean. Why you keep tying your name to that clown is beyond me.

biggest concern i have with number 8 is his throws have no zip on them whatsoever when you add that with bad technique and staring down receivers easily telegraphed that translates to turnovers. He is only moderately effective when he runs but camps in the pocket too often leading to strip tackles and 3rd and longs..

I said I'd be patient and give him this season.

He does not look like a NFL QB.

I wouldnt fault the staff if they moved on. It would take a miracle for this broken QB to be fixed.

The fact is, there are very few things Mariota does right. He sometimes makes a play, that is about as much credit as I can give him. I can't even call him clutch at this point, since the last few games he has had several moments to be clutch and he has not been. He is regressing.

Okay, Marcus has been bad, but this has to be the stupidest post here. He has zero turnovers at this point.

The season could still easily be salvaged at this point. I mean we know Tannehill doesn't suddenly fix the OL. But could he make better decisions than Mary? Get the ball out quicker? Throw more accurately? I think it's VERY possible given what we've seen out of Mary the last season plus.

Sure, he also could be worse. Or the same. But we won't know until we try it. It's gonna be very frustrating if we go to Tannehill when its already too late and this offense ends up looking completely different.

Year 5. Two DREADFUL outings in a row. I've seen enough. Hopefully the FO feels the same way. Or will sooner rather than later at least.

Patiently waiting on Guts breakdown on Mariota.

Gut, the stage is yours sir.
If Gut even tries to touch this mess I'm done with him. He's systematically destroying 16 years of football credibility he's built up by defending this turd.

Exactly. Hes so bad 90% of the time, when he makes a routine good throw I'm impressed. He has a couple of good plays each game, a handful of average ones, and the rest are just awful. The ok/good plays are the outlier, not what defines him at this point.

It's a win/win. We know for certain we are not bringing Mariota back next year. You've got to give Tannehill a chance to either save the season and be our guy next year, or drive it off the cliff and give us a good pick for a QB next year. Either way, continuing to start Marcus is not the answer.

We're 0-2 in the division and haven't even seen Watson yet. Should have made it an open competition to begin with, and started the better QB. Mariota has been outplayed by two backups in a row with a fraction of his experience. There's no way that Tannehill is worse.

I'd rather go 1-15 than 6-10. Tannehill might be better than Mariota, but he's clearly not a winning QB in the NFL over the long term. What does this team gain by winning a couple extra games?

Gotta maximize the future now.

What I’m hearing from my source close to the team is that both Vrabel and Robinson are wanting to bench Mariota. However, they are being overridden by Amy Adams Strunk, who sees Mariota as the face of the franchise. She feels they have invested too much in Mariota to start all over again with a new quarterback.

guess she likes owning a loser franchise that no one cares about

at least we had the draft right

The Eagles offered the Titans their 2015 first- and second-round picks, their 2016 first-round pick, any quarterback on their roster and any defensive player on their roster in exchange for the No. 2 overall pick.

NEVER FORGET @520 @XO
