Polite went from a 1st day to 3rd day guy over bad test times. Jon better not be dumb enough to wait too long for this guy. Defense has enough leaders now, we can sustain taking on a guy like Polite.

Not just times, he really blew a lot of interviews and showed his lack of mental toughness and ability to handle adversity while displaying a very poor attitude because coaches were breaking down concerns with his game film.

Kevin Dodd 2.0. Quitter

You dont need to be a genius to play football. I think in the right setting this guy could succeed.

Certainly not a guy to build around, that pressure might ruin him. But let him come in as a 2nd rounder and learn how to be a pro behind Wake. Let him see Landry's growth and see where he could be if he just applied himself..

Tape is too good to ignore.

CRAZY TALK...It's almost like JRob has a vision/plan and is organized.

should probably be UDFA with those times

I'd bring him in for an interview and workout. He ran a 4.96 40? I'm closer to believing he does have a nagging leg injury because he looks FAST on tape. That's adequate for a 300lb dt...not a 254lb EDGE guy. His tape says he's fast. I'm sure the Titans have already met him. I think he wasn't prepared mentally or physically for the combine and was immature. He's 20yrs old. Question is, can he learn/develop/mature and can they see his explosive game in real life?

Usually we see meager production guys with phenom workouts (I'm looking at you Metcalf) but we don't normally see the reverse - a guy who produces AND looks fast on tape but has a slow combine.

Noah Spence was like that a few years ago. Was supposed too be a speed rusher, but ran a 4.8 at the combine. And he's had 1 sack in the past two years

I say go WR in round one. Preferably Hollywood Brown to stretch the field.
Move up to draft Jeffrey Simmons in round two.
Sign Suh to a 1 year deal to hold down Simmons spot for him till he's healthy.

yea bad sign, so like I said, dont draft early, but still get the guy if hes around 3rd day

giphy.webp

Taylor received the 3rd most cushion in the league. He already fills that role, just needs to be more consistent.

yeah but that's all he does, brown is just better all around
What does Brown do that is different? His primary purpose is going to be running down the field. He's too small to take hits anywhere else. Taylor is more agile and has like 40 pounds on him

I don’t think Simmons gets out of round one. Maybe if you trade back far enough in round 1 you have the Ammo to move up to early 2nd round to grab a big name falling. Or maybe you reverse the order and grab Simmons first. If u miss on MBrown at least you’ll have other wrs u can take.

He was slower on his pro day

True but also said he’s dealing with an injury. I tend not to believe claims like this except his tape is not of a guy who can on do a 4.9 40.

That’s why I’d bring him in for a workout so we can make our own determination.

Again...is this an AVERAGE stat? Is this cushion before the play starts? Explain what stat you’re referring to.

Hollywood is faster and more explosive and more consistent and is used to being the biggest weapon on his team...besides Murray.

Would also give us our most dangerous wr trio. If we had the cajones to do it...would let us live in 3wr set like the Rams do and let them try and defend Henry out of a nickel D!!!
