Totally agree. But that's the thing, we may already have a solid group as-is without Ryan coming back. And it looks like it will be very difficult to bring back Conklin and Ryan. Keeping the OLine in tact with Tannehill and Henry behind them is the top priority.I'd really hate to let a top CB go at 28 and in his prime, that would blow.
First world problem I guess. I trust JRob and Co. to find a better replacement at CB than I do RT.

thats why Im saying pay these men!Wow, tons of info there. Thanks for sharing.
Big takeaways for me:
-No june 1 cut line so we dont have to wait to see dion and wake off the payroll and for delanie to be told he should retire.
-possibly no salary carry over for 2021, so we should spend it all in 2020

save enough to cover your rookies and leave a little cushion for a FA should injuries come along.
His play while on IR?Butlers play isnt currently worth his $13M salary hes due in 2020, so its worth considering.
Wed only gain about $7M in cap space by cutting him tho, certainly enough to cover Brock for a year or two even.
And with no June-1st designation this year we cant put off his dead money, so we'd eat $6M this yr. I never like letting money influence roster building, but JR might.
Not worth 13M IMO, he splaying at brocks levelsHis play while on IR?
He was playing good before the injury.
I do not see Tannehill getting 30 mil a year...no way. Look he's had a great 11 games but still its 11 games. His career says he will likely regress next year. I think he gets an Alex Smith type deal around 22-23 mil per year. I would not give him anymore than that personally.
And we have a couple of big contract guys that would add to that cap space if we decide to move away from them.. Lewis needs to be one of them.
Lewis, Walker, Mariota, (possibly Conk), Butler May be gone...Woodyard May be gone...Wake...Am I missing someone else?
Gotta be honest. I think Conk is the odd man out. We would have so much money tied up in our offensive line. Not many teams in the NFL have over $30 million locked up on their tackles.
I think the plan of attack is:
Sign Henry probably 4/60
Tag Tannehill (id be surprised if they committed to him long term)
Sign Ryan 3/35
Let Conk walk.
Re sign Kelly, Firkser.
Sharpe will be interesting. I think we will find out what JRob and Vrabel think of Corey this off-season. If we sign Sharpe, Corey is for sure not getting his option picked up and will be gone. If we don’t re sign him then I think CD sticks around for a little longer. I think Sharpe is gone though.
Cut Walker and Lewis. Y’all are crazy if you think we cut Butler. Ain’t happening. He’s arguably our best corner. We aren’t going to make our secondary worse this offseason. That wouldn’t be smart.
