My problem with this is that logan is a great nickel corner(also 2 years younger than malcolm and less injury prone). What we need is a great outside corner who will be able to keep up with tyreek, Sammy and hardman(and hollywood brown too)..i fear that malcolm will not be able to hold a candle....he was already slow for a corner, how bout a year after a injury and turning 30.

I'd rather have Taysom Hill as our backup, and would be cheaper. But there is something to be said for continuity. Marcus would be a valuable backup bc he already knows our system and players, but surely he wants to start and get paid more.If we could get marcus back for 6-7 mil a year would yall do it?

iirc we paid gabby 2M/yrthe highest paid backups in the league make around 5 mill I believe—and there are few of them. Most make 2 or under. We traded for Tannehill and he was due 7-9 of which we paid less than 2. I can’t believe we paid gabbert six for on year. Would have to check.
