Well you are right about people complaining about them being short passes and I’d really have to look into each game he reached that comp% BUT I completely disagree with your nonsense second statement. “Average day”If mariota throws for that completion percentage ppl are like well its all short passes etc. He didnt have any deep passes last week. In fact he looked a lot like Mariota on an average day.

Mariota has reached that comp% exactly 3 times in his entire career.
-His first game against TB, he killed it that day. Gave lots of false hope for a franchise waiting for a QB like that.
-his second, almost exactly 1 year later in a beat down of Jax.
- his third, over 2 years later in a Houston route.
None of which he reached the same yardage total.
So you are entirely dreaming about what Mariota’s “average day” is. As I posted before, if he had a lot more “average days”, he wouldnt have been benched, we wouldn’t have even signed his replacement, and he probably wouldn’t be playing in a different uniform next year (if he is signed by someone).

Begs the question.....how many truly top level, go win games for you guys are there really in the nfl.....about 5 I would say. Mahomes, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Wilson. Then another level of guys like Rivers, Ryan, Rothlisberger, guys who were probably top level but are either injured or old...or both. So that is what maybe 8-10 teams that, barring injury have guys that you can say can carry a team. The rest of the NFL are searching for that guy.
