His agent already came out and said no bridge deal and wants a long term deal with guarantees. I would think a 5 yr deal, front load the first two yrs with the option to walk after 3.

This will be Jrobbd and Vrabel legacy here so they better build around him if they do a long term deal. I say do it. Tired of drafting and failing to develop a QB. We now have a guy who has experience and can play. Build the o line and back up with a stout D.

Pass rusher not so hot in the draft this year. There are a bunch of FA pass rusher though. Which is good for when we go Guard in the first.

Honestly, we extended Jones. He had a bad year last year and slow start but seems ok. G is a serious problem to the point I’m actually ok taking 1 first round.
Still need pass rush and between signing our own FA and I’m certain, competition for pass rushers, that route is going to be costly.

Completely agree with everything but one point. I think the OLine is doing a lot better. Nate Davis seems to be working out at guard and should only get better. Conklin is doing much better as is Lewan and Saffold. Jones concerns me but he has been extended, so is not going anywhere. So what is there to build? Next year, I am sure we will move forward with what we have...unless we move on from Conklin.
I think our focus is the front seven and improving our pass rush. After we sign RT and Henry...
