It's a very small sample size, but I was encouraged to see what his skills showed us about the talent around him. As much as I have been a fan of Mariota's character and extra playmaking ability with his legs, it was rare to see him throw the ball with anything close to Tannehill's zip. It's also interesting to note that the O-line seemed better with Kelly at right tackle. We have some playmakers on this team.
Bosa is exceptionally good. Not going to be a lot of tackles who can contain him.I wasn't as impressed with Kellys performance yesterday

I was already on the “keep THill” idea. How can anyone answer this question yet
ask me again around the middle of December
So....what kind of money....and it looks like tranny pretty much wants to be a starter and paid like itI was already on the “keep THill” idea.
I mentioned it in another thread, keep THill as the vet for a rookie next season to sit behind. If he makes it the full year, great. The rookie got an entire year of learning.
If he only makes it a few weeks, great. Hopefully the rookie is ready to go.
Either way, provided his agent doesn’t aim for unrealistic goals, THill should get a very manageable 3 yea contract to continue as the vet starter/mentor backup for whichever rookie we get.
No matter what, move on from MM.
Until he proves otherwise, he's the guy. You draft a QB with the hopes that they throw 300+ yards and have a 100+ QB rating. If it continues, it wouldn't be smart to roll the dice and assume we can develop the next superstar. That's backfired numerous times.Tannehill is not the answer, he is just light years better than Mariota.
We absolutely need to draft a QB for the future. In the meantime if we can get Tannehill on a 3 year deal for under 12mil a year, I would sign him for 3 years, go draft a qb and start grooming our future qb while Tannehill carries us along.
PLAYOFFS, playoffs, don't talk about playoffs...you kidding me!If he leads us to the playoffs and plays well along the way, I say keep him. But we gotta have a plan to draft a QB soon. My idea is to trade down and get as many 2021 high draft picks that you can so we can draft Lawrence No. 1 overall.
Regardless we need to be drafting for the future. 1. Tannehill isn't a young guy. 2. Tannehill has a history of injuries. 3. If we find a good value for a future qb in the draft, we need to take it.Until he proves otherwise, he's the guy. You draft a QB with the hopes that they throw 300+ yards and have a 100+ QB rating.
