Good idea, let’s ignore everyone who doesn’t agree with you. Freaking millennial mindset.

BTW, minds are allowed to change as body of work continues to develop. I’d be fine with signing him to a shorter deal like 3 year with a way out after one.
Did someone say something....

Weird, i thaught i heard something

quote that sticks out to me:
"Ryan loves it there. He's winning. He's being successful," Dye said. "I have no doubt he'd be thrilled to stay there. But he probably wouldn't turn down three or four other teams that are offering (high)-dollar guarantees in order to stay and do the bridgework."

so either big dollar he's the guy or he walks

IMO I don't think Tanne takes a bridge deal nor would I expect him to especially the way he's playing. By bridge I mean 2-3 year deal. There's a handful of teams out there next season that need a QB and are going to open up the wallets especially the ones that are a QB away from contending. Even though he's 32, he's looking for his last payday and a commitment. I'd offer him a 5 year deal, front load it his first 2 yrs with the option to opt out after 3 without a big cap hit. If he continues to play well then you let him finish it out.

Worse case you got the FT in your back pocket if things hit a snag or you want him to prove it again before getting a deal done. I think the Titans are in a good spot either way.

if he continues to play well we'd be crazy to not just pay him and keep the offense together (with KING ART)

also sign henry/conk, then draft the best pass rusher available

six starts by each #Titans QB...

Mariota: 59.1 %, 1,179 yards, 7 TD, 2 INTs, 25 sacks, 0 rush TDs, 7.4 yards per attempt, 16.3 points/gm (2-4)

Tannehill: 72.7%, 1,602 yards, 12 TDs, 4 INTs, 24 sacks, 3 rushing TDs, 9.1 yards per attempt, 29. 7 points/gm (5-1)

Yuck, 49 sacks.

At this point, I think you offer Tannehill a 3 year deal and draft a QB like Eason to groom.

Eason is not ready right away and could really benefit from a year of development behind a vet like Tanne. Heck, maybe even sit for 2 years.

Tanny is our qb for the next 5-8 years

If you sign Tannehill to three years, you don’t draft a qb as high as it will take to get Eason.
