Why not? He has not shown he is a franchise QB. If he puts up average stats again, there is no reason to extend him. Draft a rookie and give Tannehill a modest contract extension. Last year proved this team can win with bad QB play. No reason to tie up $20m plus in an average QB.He does not need to put up top 10 stats to stay
