The top 5 highest-graded #Titans in Week 2:
ED Kamalei Correa - 83.2
TE Luke Stocker - 81.2
CB Adoree' Jackson - 80.4
ED Harold Landry 78.9
ED Brian Orakpo - 78.1
Jurrell Casey's pass-rushing productivity rating of 16.1 led all interior defenders in Week 2 (minimum of nine pass rushes)
*reason Casey wasn’t higher was because his rush run-defense of 52.8 grade pulled him down 70.2.
Again another reason why PFF is hard to trust. How any of our DB’s made the list after getting torched all game is beyond me.
Receivers were wide open all game long. The best coverages were Adoree’s pick and the Fuller TD. Other than that the closest defenders was not even on the screen when these dudes were catching passes.
Thank goodness we got Vrabel instead of Steve Wilks. We've got an innovative OC , and they have tired ass Mike McCoy who averages 3 PPG with Bradford, David Johnson, and Fitzgerald.
On most of those, it was lack of pass rush allowing receivers to get open. The Hopkins td in particular, i saw a highlight that had a timer and Watson had over 6 seconds to throw. Im pretty sure the NFL avg is under 3 seconds, the db really has no chance to keep up that long.
This is not so much about how great the line play was, but how great the game plan was, super duper quick passes, never hold the ball. The #Titans' makeshift offensive line allowed only three pressures on Sunday. The unit’s 95.1 pass-blocking efficiency this season is the highest in the league per pff.
This is what I was going to say. This is what a real coaching staff can do in the NFL. Create a logical game plan. The players still have to execute, but the game plan is so important. Along with adjustments. It's only 2 weeks in, but Vrable and Co. are doing better than Mularkey and co did in more than 2 seasons. This is not so much about how great the line play was, but how great the game plan was, super duper quick passes, never hold the ball.
Last week v. the #Texans was the 9th multi-sack game (he had 2) of @Jurrellc’s career. No NFL DT has had more games w 2+ sacks in the last 5 years #Titans
Titans
1.) Casey (9)
2.) Kawann Short (8)
3.) Aaron Donald, Akiem Hicks, Cameron Hayward, Geno Atkins & Marcell Darius all with 5
@Big TT look how much Casey sucks. Oh, wait you must talk shit for another reason. . .
Oh that makes up for the last at least 32 games that I know of that you've spent the entire 3+ hours talking shit about Casey and how he was a waste of money etc etc. Loldude, were you NOT around sunday...I spent much of it praising him...catch up...even said that HE saved the game that last play by his pressure on watson...
