Weeks 1 and 4 playoff team.

Weeks 2 and 3 top ten pick in the draft.

We had alot of time to prepare in both wins maybe that had something to do with it ?????

AJ lookin like a legit pick at #5 overall and Davis a great 2nd rounder!

Oh wait a second...
Strength in numbers. Davis proved that he could produce with no help, while having Davis/Walker/Humphries is huge for Brown and takes a lot of the heat off of him.

Its obvious this team (specifically OC Smith) is figuring out that this is a pass first team that uses the run to finish games.

I have been thinking that Smith will need some time to learn the OC role and this season will see some struggles as he figures it out. Hopefully, he and Vrable are going through some growing pains as new leaders in their respective positions and will improve over the next year or 2 together.

Todays performance in no way changes my mind on Mariota being the QB of the future and hope we have a shot at Lawrence or Eason in 2020, but its nice to see a great game by MM and love see the Defense playing amazing this year.

Since the offense will continue to be Jekel and Hyde, the defense may carry the team this year to a playoff run.

Does anyone else feel like Vrabels decision making is a major liability going forward? I'm sure the analytics say that you kick the field goal to go up 3 scores with 11 minutes left, 1000/1000 times.

The decision is so baffling to me and this is like the 5th time this year he's made a decision that goes against all logic and reduces our chances of winning.

Am I overreacting? He is stressing me the hell out .Mularkey/Munchak wouldn't have even made that terrible decision today. A few good plays by Atlanta and they could have brought the score to 24 all near the end.

I didn't mind going for it but the play was dumb as dickass

Why though? Going up 17 all but seals it. If it doesn't seal it, it certainly puts our chances of winning at 99% just based on time left. Being up by 21 or 17 is no different with 11 mins left, but the difference between 14 and 17 is huge.

Go for the jugular..if it worked it could've pumped the team up..3 points is boring but safe

Ehh, if we were up 3 or something I could see going for it to "go for the jugular", but the FG literally seals the game. It's just a bad decision.

Agreed

Vrabel messed up

Luckily it didnt come around to bite us in the ass

Common sense coach. He just listens to the play call in the press box but is allowed to speak up during egregious mistakes. "Whoa coach, chipshot FG makes this a 3 possession lead and almost a certain win. We don't need to go for it, you may be having a CTE unexplainable aggression moment."
High five for the signature. So true.

I dunno. That bills D is legit. I can easily see them shutting down our offense.

Now, we should shut theirs down too. I see a very low scoring game where some last minute weirdness can win it for either team.
I could see a defensive score being huge in this game. If Allen doesn't play, I think our defense had a chance to make that type of play.

That could happen even if Allen does play, he threw 3 ints before been knocked out. Barkley is prone to turnovers too, but he's a better passer than Allen. I think I'd honestly rather face Allen, if we can contain him from running and force him to throw, it plays in our favor. If only our offense will show up better than last year's game, at least Nick Williams is no where near the team this year.

I rewatched batman vs. superman last night, and I swear superman said, "Save Mariota." and Batman responded with, "Why would you say that?"

Man, when this team is firing on all cylinders, it's a beautiful thing. Hopefully they can keep that momentum rolling - I can't remember the last time I've felt nervous about a game vs. the Bills.

I’m fairly sure we’ll win the Bills game 3-0 on a 79 yard Kern drop kick field goal. It’s the only way.

I was at the game....That call by Vrable was totally idiotic and if he keeps doing crap like that it will cost us a game...the Falcons fans were totally out of the game and 3 points would have sent them streaming out the exits....instead the Falcons make the stop and the fans get more hope and they are only down 2 scores with plenty of time left...going for the jugular was taking the FG in this situation
