For starters, wouldn’t give that title to anyone with less than 5 years in the league. Flashes in the pan happen and tons of players start a career off great but can’t keep on a HoF pace.Interesting perspective. Mind naming them?
It’s also difficult to label OL as elite or not which is also pretty rare to hear anyway.
So considering this short list:
I disagree with Jones, Donald (needs more time and consistency), Barkley, Travis kelce at least.Julio, AB (as far as past), Brady, Brees, Donald, Mack, Kelce (C), Kelce (TE), Walker, Barkley, Zeke,
Philly Kelce is OL. Is Mack, Alex?
not sure what Walker is referred. If it’s delanie, easy no. Zeke Elliot?, no.
Brady is a yes
Brees is a yes
AB is on the fence for me but probably a yes
Elite should be limited to players considered all time greats.
My issue with describing current players is too many have a good season or two, receive the label, then can’t continue. It waters down the definition and honestly diminishes those that actually are elite players.
Some guys just aren’t tops in the league anymore either, like Adrian Peterson.
Of course this is completely subjective.
