the sadness here is only briefly punctuated with 2000-04 Heimerdinger1

it was mentioned in shoutbox and I looked up Titan OCs... the sadness here is just amazing

Steckel was great at getting the rock to the 20 and letting ADG/fishface kick the 3

Chow... never bothered to even buy a house in Nashvegas... just lived at the YMCA for a few years.

Heimerdinger2 was a shell of his pre-issues self and then the true sadness ensues

lol for the YMCA thing.

So what this list really says is the titans may have POSSIBLY had the best WR ever but the OCs were just terrible.

2000-2004 Heimerdinget was the best one. He also had the best QB.

Weird how that happens.

I would love to see a PFFish thingy about how many times Ed-E was stopped for negative yardage. I would bet its close to 0

rarely ruined a drive, rarely fumbled. For a handful of seasons he dominated the D... they would find someone to block them so they did not have to engage 27... was amazing to watch.

I am sure you TV only fans were well informed about the Titan opponents second string SSs and stuff...

And not surprisingly we've pretty much been trash on offense for 15+ years. Crap organization consistently makes crap hires and gets crap results in return.

It's not rocket science.

LaFleur was a let down honestly....
I was cautiously excited for him, and he was absolute garbage. This list is pathetic, no wonder this franchise has needed to be a "run first, defensive" team forever. Pathetic.

I'm so torn, a TE coach is a bunch of Mularkey. That said, he's been here the whole time Mariota has and if he's as good of a football mind as everyone says he is, he should understand where Mariota can excel, and what to avoid. With that theory, he should be able to call a game the eliminates his deficiencies, and plays to his strengths.

Every time I expect the offense to turn the corner though, it lets me down. Glad we should have a top defense, and JR it has built a solid all around roster.

Hella sad how terrible Robiskie was yet we won a playoff game under him as the OC*

*MM8 the real OC calling the shots last 4 games

MM8 running the O for the last 4 games might be a stretch, but he definitely took over the last half of the Chiefs game. That's my favorite Titans game of the last decade.

As someone said, Bad QB=Bad OC.

I think each of these OCs were limited due to the HC.

It took a horrible start to the season for Fisher to let Dinger loose.

Munch and Mularky were old school too.

Only Whiz wanted a downfield passing game but didn’t have the talent on the field to make it work.

During his playing days in Tennessee (1996-2003), George never missed a game – a span of 128 starts.

Eddie George had a fumble per touch percentage of 1.18%, he fumbled it a total of 37 times between 1996-2004.

Chris CJ2K Johnson had a fumble per touch percentage of 0.88%, fumbling a total of 15 times between 2008-2012.

Definitely had several bad QB's, and not making excuses for them, but it's really everyone's fault. The QB, the OC, the head coach, the WR, etc - they all have played their parts in making the Titans have arguably the saddest offensive air production of the past 15 years. Our only bright spots on offense have always come on the ground, which is less to do with scheming, and more about lining up and blocking and having a guy that runs a 4.2 in the 40.

I really wish we could join the 21st century and actually have a viable pass attack for once.

Maybe in 2021 when we reset at QB...again.

if a team goes through QBs more than business men go through hookers, then usually it's because your staff does a sh*t job at QB/Player development.

Absolutely. See Cleveland-Dot-Browns for a more detailed narrative of the official curriculum.
