I like that . Never looked at it that way but a semi tall order with current OLine status . LolAll Mariota has to do is play all season

And play exponentially better than he has over the past two seasons. If we see the same guy that we have over that time span, he'll be replaced long before the season is over. All Mariota has to do is play all season
Hey look at that Sharpe is starter week one like I said... aj will get there but he hasn't earned it yet.
Thats a different question than the thread title
Fair. I ignore all of that rubbish. The discussion in this thread about the ol...the bashing of Mariota...and other topics don’t apply to this thread but they’re here. At least my question is the obvious extension to the title of this thread.
What do you think?
it doesn't really matter. I expect Delanie Walker, Hump and CD to get majority of the targets. for the first time in a while we have options as targets. I can even see Firkser getting more targets than whoever is WR3. And because of that, i'd prefer to see AJ Brown, just because he's more of a threat, and he's a big body that will usually eat up 2, 3, and nickel corners.
He's proven that he has talent.Didnt AJ literally have one catch in the pre season?
Guys here acting like hes proven

I can't see a scenario where I'd rather have Sharpe on the field over AJ. AJ is more physical, has better hands, better in contested situations. More versatile playing majority of his college career in the slot but can also play outside, and he is a threat after the catch.Yep. On few targets, AJ provides more big play ability. Sharpe provides none.
Now if it's a crucial third and 8 or something, sure, throw Sharpe out there. But mostly, go AJ.

I think it's safe to say AJ is gonna claim that starting position REAL SOON. Already making an impact and once again Sharpe is completely irrelevant.
CD is without question the #1He was on the field openening drive. Makes him a starter no?
At this point, aj vs Sharpe is irrelevant. It's aj vs CD for the #1 spot at issue now.

AJ is taking the 2 spot

After one game huh.
I don’t think that’s how it works.
