You going to really say Tammy is better than Cam? Cam has been injured but a healthy Cam vs a healthy Tammy, Cam will dominate and take over a game. He was MVP caliber the super bowl year, when has Tammy ever been that level?

That super bowl season was what, three years and how many surgeries ago?

If the panthers let him go, it means he's done.

All I know is, Tanne has come in and continued to outplay Mariota. It all started in preseason like I said it did. I’m not surprised. If Mariota is in that game yesterday, we lose. Plain and simple. Tannehill isn’t Montana by any means, but he is moving the ball downfield and making some big throws with good accuracy. Dude balled out yesterday...Henry ran wild as well...That was fun to see!

As much of a Marcus supporter that I am, it's been tough to watch him go down in flames in recent years. I hope he can go to a team & coaching staff that will challenge him and work on his deficiencies so he can become a better QB.
I really want to see him have success....I am of the belief...as the video illustrated, that blame lies on both sides....to me the Tits organization never gave him what he needed ( ALL QB's do better if they are in a system that fits their strengths...) instead forced him into our, rather old school offense...let's face it....this O would be right at home in the 70's and 80's.

Yes, sucks that the Titans stuck with Mariota a game too long even after watching Tannehill out perform him earlier in the year.

2016 was Mariota's only year to crack 20 TDs... in a passing league where 20 TDs is the floor - and that was four seasons ago. No idea why they didn't pull the plug a season ago, but them bringing in Tannehill was very telling.

That 2016 season seems something of an anomaly anyway as Mariota's been on a steady decline ever since. He had that same HC and OC in 2017 as well and only put up 13 TDs to 15 INTs.

This year the Titans were all in on him, ESPN had a huge fluff piece on him... they were going finally going to get over the hump. Instead he ended up the same disappointment he's been for years and they finally just pulled the plug on him in the Broncos game.

Tannehill isn't without his warts either. He's a better overall QB than Mariota, but Philbin and Gase almost ruined him in Miami. Philbin didn't like running the ball and was convinced he could have a passing attack that negated the need to run. Couple that with an OL that gave up near instant pressure from multiple positions and you have a guy leading the league in sacks.

Separately, Tannehill can be a froghair slow on reads at times as Philbin beat caution into him maybe too much while having him behind the worst OL's in the league with little run support.

Encouragingly, this season, he looks more like he did as a rookie. More instinctive, more inclined to run away from pressure when it's not virtually instantaneous, and he has an actual lane to run into, like on the 12 yard run on 3rd down after the false start on Nate Davis, that took them from 3rd and short to a long situation.

Tannehill was a physical wreck last year, coming off the knee, then having his shoulder wrenched in game five against the Bengals. If he's completely healthy and the Titan's keep him in a Play Action Offense with tons of runs, he'll help carry them to the playoffs. He's extremely accurate and throws a catchable ball. Mariota struggled with that due to being slow to read and react while lacking velocity. That's why he's near the top of the "uncatchable" balls stats and Tannehill is near the bottom.

Regardless, the Titans need to dump Mariota in the off-season, and draft a kid to learn behind Tannehill, who's extremely smart and enjoys teaching. Let the kid learn from Tannehill.

Given the Titans compete against Watson and will face Mahomes, taking a gamble on a guy early like Jordan Love, or maybe Desmond Ridder in the mid-rounds could really pay off in the long run.

Solid write up but do frogs have hair? Seems pointless for a amphibian.

Amphibians do not have hair, feathers, nor claws, but in this case, the phrase is but a Southern colloquialism. In this case meaning a to an extremely fine degree.

As I'm sure you're aware. ;-)

From the south I have heard of "frog's a**" and "c*** hair" but never a combination of both to make frog's hair. But not saying it doesnt exist.
