Here's the thing...

A quality NFL QB can throw it all over the field. Mariota likes going down the middle and, when that is taken away, he has to be effective hitting sideline timing routes.

Now we did have a couple he hit but, IMO, he still struggles with this and good defenses will continue to take the middle away from him.

I'd like to see the All-22 myself to see whether or not Titans receivers aren't getting separation.

You could listen to a Marita apologist, or look at the tons of screenshots and videos of wide receivers ruinning wide open all over the field
Yeah, I wont even bother reading that ALL-22 crap. I have seen about 15 gifs since the game and in every single one of them there are wide open receivers on the field.

He's seeing what he wants to see. Many others have been supporters and review film in a similar manner and have renounced their support. There are so many intangible factors and anticipation required with QB that there is far too much room for interpretation and any bias will sway your opinion . NFL receivers hardly ever look open unless there is busted coverage. The top receivers often have the least separation per target. Their production is dependant on a QB willing to throw into nfl windows, and our QB has failed them , and they are struggling to hide their frustration now

Doesn’t trust his eyes and It seems like he doesn’t trust the OL and anticipates the pocket collapsing all the time causing him to hold the ball longer. These 2 sacks are inexcusable, he needs to get rid of the ball.

It looks like Marcus will be a full participant in practice today according to Vrabel's presser.

This guy was the guy who posted about Davis getting open on that 4th and 2. He was bashing on Mariota some after the game but he went back over the game with the All-22 and took a closer look at the film. Never said 8 was terrific but just he wasn't as bad at first glance. Just because he has Titans in his Twitter handle doesn't mean he's a Homer.

3/20 third down.

The only reason we bear Cleveland is because they gave us so many penalties.

400 yards in two games is poor. Especially since a 75 yard screen is. A good chunk of it.

No pics? Sure. He never takes any chances at all.

Marcus is dry white toast. Not ever gonna get it done. Move on.

You do realize we beat them by 30 right?

He must have been referring strictly to the deep passing, which is understandable. Indy runs 2 high safeties and makes it a lot more difficult to beat them deep, but gives a lot of options in the short and intermediate game. Mariota-154 yards, 1/10 on 3rd(?) , 5.5 YPA- obviously didn't do well throwing at any level, especially with a receiving cast which should thrive in zone, and played horrific situational football. He was absolutely terrible, and this guy is in the overwhelming minority with his analysis

Or...you...know...actually WATCH the film and KNOW what's going on instead of making it up!

Which plays and which wr's were open? I'd like to see what you're seeing.

Sound alike Mariota is a go for Thursday. I was nervous the quad might keep him. I expect a huge game from him and a titans win.
