Should a team sign Kaepernick as their designated kneeler at the ends of halves/games?

I don't think Kaep has any intention of playing football again. He could have proven he was NFL worthy by trying out for a CFL team. He could have proven he was ready if he'd landed with someone.

Having said that, the NFL is notorious for covering up stuff so I'm not surprised they wanted the session closed, only use their film crew, etc. And I'm not surprised Kaep's people wanted a more transparent workout.

But, if transparency was important to Kaep, why not answer questions?

Apparently, the Titans were there. I wonder who on the scouting team drew the short straw?

Just wondering, and I don’t know the answer, but has any player ever had their own film crew and dictated the terms of an nfl tryout?

How many players have had Jay-Z helping them get a NFL workout?

It's my understanding Kaep's people wanted all media to be able to film and there was disagreement over the liability consent form.

I feel it was a total PR stunt and would not be surprised moving it at the last minute wasn't planned.

He was a no show to their show because they wanted to control everything. NFL really done that man dirty.

Well, since the NFL is the potential employer, and Kaepernick is the potential employee, I’d say the NFL has the right to control the situation however they see fit. This is what people like to call, running a business. Contrary to your, apparent, belief, employees and candidates for employment do not get to dictate how the business will be run.

I'm not sure what they could have covered up in a private session. Kaepernick's crew was encouraged to attend . If he was serious about wanting to play, they would have rescheduled while working on a compromise. The FB live video of his workout holds as much weight to team executives as Uncle Rico's home movies, and he knows that. There are just a lot of dumb, loud people who don't, nor can they see his shameless self-promotion as a martyr is nothing more than an extension of his 15 minutes.

So, if the NFL is the only entity allowed to film it, that wouldn't throw up any red flags?

This guy is a complete moron arse-hat. Besides that, he sucks as a QB, I d rather keep MM8 as a backup than sign this clown.

All he wants is a spotlight on himself, he doesn’t care about the team, or anything else other than stirring the pot. He has faded from everyone’s memory and this little stunt gave him another few minutes of fame.
The browns should sign him amd Antonio Brown then they can keep up their "winning" tradition with style.

OK, so a reference to how he won't change himself to fit the slave masters mold.

Either way, between that and making sure he wore his about to come out Nike shoes, we clearly see what this workout was really about, as well as why no team wants the headache.
Not 2 mention im a redhead and im blacker than him and id never wear a kunta kintae (sp?) Shirt

It’s just become a propaganda war.

Kaep and Nike uses it to make commercials and sway public opinion while the NFL just wants a normal Tuesday free agent workout scenario, sans media circus.

NFL pro personnel and owners want to see its about football and only football, and Kaep proved that it isn’t.

The agreement was that he would be receiving the raw and edited footage, for transparency purposes. That wasn't some ongoing battle, he let the NFL go all week thinking that everything was good or at least manageable for both sides. He just waited until the last minute to let them know that it wasn't, and he's misrepresenting everything as the latest attempt of the NFL to keep him down about something that happened 3 years ago.

Damn man went all the way back to page one to quote that. Deep cut.

"Do not apologize if you've done nothing wrong."

The NFL screwed up by not following this basic rule.

You don't try to extend olive branches to a guy who sabotaged his own career for woke politics.

They were just begging for him to make clowns of the NFL with this work out and that's exactly what he did.

We're in the heart of football season, watching awesome performances from the young star QBs in the league each week, yet Kaepernick was able to steal the spotlight and make things about him once again. The guy is a sociopath. Jay Z was one of his supporters and pushed for this arrangement, and Kaepernick is glad to take him down with the league as well.

That’s not fair.
Media pulled the spotlight to him because he’s “controversial”.
Who watches ESPN and wanted to hear anything about that tool? No one. But because they showed him, lots of people are going to remind each other how much he sucks OR how they think he was blackballed.
