All set. Tanne is doing his thing here and he’s doing it well. This workout was pointless IMO and what exactly did it show? His arm strength? His arm strength was never the issue, It was his overall game. Throwing to guys wearing shorts and a T-shirt without a pass rush, without defenders covering Wrs, and without any type off duress doesn’t show me anything. People on social media going crazy of how good he looks. SMH. I’d hope he looks good, he’s been unemployed for 3 yrs so this is all he does.

Kap sent out letters about a month ago to all 32 teams looking for work and heard nothing. Instead of leaving it alone what does he do? He rounds up his circus because his ego is crushed. Now this is all your going to hear about over the next few weeks.

For people who don't get it, here's the deal:

-The NFL wants him to play. Just imagine the ratings boost that his presence in the NFL would bring, at last temporarily. They are always looking to expand their audience and help their image. Come on, guys.

-24 teams had planned to attend the workout. Kaepernick is good enough to be a backup, which is why most teams were represented. This tryout was a shield for teams who didn't want to be criticized if they decided that he wouldn't be a good fit after a tryout. It was meant to replicate a tryout, not play by the rules of the prospective player.

-NFL did not agree to live footage of the tryout, because they aren't stupid (more on that later). It's week 11, and absolutely no team has the resources to spare for a scripted 31 YO quarterback's pro day. Nearly 80% of teams expressed interest in him prior to his stunt. Fewer than 80% of NFL teams have a shot at the playoffs at this point. You sign players to help you win games, right? What's the point of doing so for a losing cause, and how many teams in need of a QB have a shot at the playoffs right now?

-Kaepernick realized years ago that people are stupid and could be manipulated for his benefit. He cancelled the AGREED-UPON WORKOUT at the very last possible second so that he could release a video montage of what is the equivalent of you playing catch with your kid in the backyard via his scripted pro day. And so that people would compare that to QBs playing in real time against the best pass rushers, CBs, defense coaches in the world. The NFL wanted to avoid a publicity stunt, trusted him to keep his word, but now this piece of crap literally will be black balled because of his betrayal

Anyone on his side at this point should feel really stupid.
I like the part where you explained the teams that showed up were basically doing so as a “woke” friendly move.

I don’t think he’s getting signed but this does help remove the image of the imaginary “blackball”.

Cap's goal is not to play football. He is looking to cash in on another law suit against the NFL for it's continued collusion again him. That is what his media circus was all about. He is a fake head line looking for another pay day for doing nothing.

Yes.

But I think he is REALLY just looking to extend his celebrity and thus his earning power. I believe he knows he has pumped the justifiable NFL funds dry with his settlement.

A lot of me wants to blast him for being such a hypocritical azz clown and pulling a huge ruse on immature people without enough life experience to see him for what he is. But I know that is how guys like this perpetuate their fake celebrity. He's in the Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc mode. So I'll just continue to ignore him- it's just a matter of time before his true colors shine through.

I usually don't agree with Stephen A- even though I enjoying listening to him because he is entertaining. I do with him on this point.
I don't like listening to people yell... the few times I've flipped over to his show on the radio, he always seems to be on a rant, yelling.

Scares me!

I agree. Consistently angry. I'm not sure he really believes half of what he's saying himself. But def entertaining (form me.

To answer the poll I don’t believe the Titans would’ve signed him. I do think teams like the Bears Steelers and Broncos were interested in bringing him in as a backup. Now nobody will sign him, and sadly he will continue to be talked about which is what he wanted.

Sign him exclusively to kneel... that's it.

Glorious crying in the call-in shows after each game!

Incentive contract. Must kneel X amount of games for an additional franchise recommendation letter to Nike.

Before every snap the defense should start singing the national anthem and see if he kneels.

Is Kaepernick still getting money from Nike?

Celebrities who aren't relevant lose endorsements.

He had nothing to lose with this tryout. If he were to get signed, that's ideal for him but just this tryout gets him some attention.

If he were serious about getting on with an NFL team, he'd been trying to get on with a CFL team the last couple of years.

Even the NBC crew just said they only saw it as an attempt to keep his platform afloat and that it really had nothing to do with football. They questioned why he waited till the season was already almost over with before trying.

Three letters, small contract, BIG attention and helps both sides.........
