He’s either trolling, blind/brain dead, or that in love with a sub par QB. Anyway you slice it, not worth arguing over...Mariota is irrelevant in Tennessee this point, so he is by far in the minority.

I just hope the fairies enjoy watching him hold that clipboard like we all said he would be...#Failure

Back to the subject at hand... Arthur Smith. Now with a bye week, we can really see and grade him on if he's able to adjust and evolve his system now that he's had some time. The pieces in play i.e. Tannehill, Nate Davis, Lewan back (we can argue that later), Walker and Davis should be back. I think Art has done a great job scheming and getting the TEs involved. That's only natural given those were the plays he knew best before becoming OC. Looks like he's finally realized he needs to rely on Henry and keep Lewis on the bench. Now lets see if he can build on that and get the WRs involved more.

Funny how much more creative Smith is now that he has a QB who can execute.

and an OL that isn't putting us in long yardage situations with penalties...

I really expected the TE group to be a major part of the passing game this week, but they were rarely targeted....screen game was tremendous again....that will help set some things up in the future as teams have to start game planning against that as well.

Hopefully Smith attacks them in the air at one point during the game. The Texans pass defense isn't that good.

Hope that’s BS.
Tired of not being able to keep coaches for even 2 years.
This is ridiculous. They need to make coaching contracts CONTRACTS. As in we’ve invested time and energy in you, now you have to stick around and fulfill your obligation.

I am still not impressed with Smith as OC, he has done a terrible job of exploiting weaknesses in past games. The 4 game stretch of Den, Chargers, Tampa, and Carolina were terribly gameplaned.

If he tries to go run heavy with a limited Henry, giving Lewis a lot of touches against a week pass defense, its the nail in the coffin for me.

Let someone else hire him away. He's fools gold. Tannehill is playing like the best QB in the league, Henry is playing like the best RB in the league. Teams know what's coming and they still can't stop us. Hard to not look good as a play caller under those circumstances.

The good news is that if Smith is hired away, the OC position suddenly becomes a really hot job.

I wont mind too much if smith goes. Wont mind too much if he stays and tanny stays. Would I like him coach a new qb into his play design, probs not.

Didn't rate him with mariota as I felt he didn't utilise marcus, with tanny and a record 6-1 it speaks for itself.
