I think it is tough to play a west coast Monday Night Football game and come back and win the next Sunday. Throw in injuries and covid season and all that and we are very fortunate to win.

I think this is more positive than negative.
 
There are obviously issues on defense that getting Adoree back should fix but it alarms me that Evans too often doesn't get off blocks or takes the wrong lane leaving the middle open.
 
We took this team for granted..

We clearly are 10 times better than the Jags..

Lucky to win this game after all these injuries.
 
Happy for the win, but the defense looks so gassed in the 2nd half. For that matter, so does Henry. Lack of offseason conditioning?

Also, interior line looks like garbage again.

Doesn’t much look like the same team we finished the season with.

But we got the win!

I didnt think any of the LB's played particularly well today.

Evans is the least of my concerns. The run D was horrible as a unit. Can't let an UDFA run for what he did on us.
 
Not gonna lie, I really thought we were going to lose today.
I'll take the ugly win any Sunday over a pretty loss.
Biggest thing from this game. No injuries ...
 
A probable missed coaching moment.

Jacksonville jumps offsides on 1st down in the third quarter. We trot Perry out there and give him the ball twice. Big deal, right? The dude has 12 carries in his 6-year career. Surely he can get five yards on three carries without subjecting him to pass protection. You cheat a couple carries away from Henry at the same time.

The little things this coaching staff gets that the previous did not.

Clowney was taking plays off left and right. I saw him literally walking in pursuit of a runner several times. Announcers said he was gassed early. My guess is he’s not at all in football conditioning right now. Better get better quick, I’m gonna lose patience soon with that garbage.
 
Glad they finally replaced Chris Jackson with Tye Smith late. Tye is so much better IMO. Jackson was constantly getting toasted.

Totally not ready. Fulton looked so so out there but he missed most of camp also. Playing so much zone with guys that aren’t on the same page is atrocious. Minshew ate us up.

Miss Pees aggressive defensive play calling. I think I saw two blitzes the whole game.
 
1-0 in the Division.
2-0 in the Conference.

That's HUGE!

I was unable to follow the game, but I'll throw in thoughts and please verify if I'm "on track"... when the Secondary is ON, the Dline isn't there. We improve the Dline and the Secondary is suffering. THEN... we need a legit DC. BADLY.
