I’m not annoiting Tanny Tom Brady 2.0 but if you can’t see he’s been a marked improvement over MM then you aren’t watching the same games I am then. The defense has been the Achilles Heel during the losses we’ve sustained lately, injuries have hampered them and a lackluster pass rush has allowed our depleted secondary to be picked apart. I can’t say that Tanny is a franchise QB that is a guaranteed super bowl winner but he’s been a pretty massive upgrade over MM it’s just not that hard to see. No more excuses for MM he had 4.5 years of then and it’s clear he’s just not that great, system in and system out he’s never been a guy you could see what going to be special.

No. I was summarizing Whoops position. I've tried to discuss with him or her and gave up. Read my posts to them. I'm a Tannehill fan.

Yeah. It's funny how what, 3 head coaches and 3 or 4 OC failed to find a mariota friendly system.

Ochams razor leads me to believe he just isn't any good.

Oh, but that is also part of the problem! It’s both that he has had so many OCs and hasn’t had the right system...just green and yellow glasses throwing shit on the wall hoping something will stick.

Agree with you—simple answer is he is just not a good NFL qb. Probably could have a solid career as a back up.

If anyone is still questioning whether or not Mariota can be a starting qb, there is something wrong with them. Mariota is a backup at best. Sure he can have some good games, but he can also suck.

Well he took over for Mariota to prove just that. Like I said many times before, there are many facets to consider when choosing a QB as we are finding out. I'm not too happy with the overall competitiveness and quality behind center. Winning is a critical aspect of this game.

I have always believed that during the off-season Smith's offense was pre-designed with Tannehill in mind. No way was it intended for Mariota which no doubt turned the team in a new direction. It's custom made for him and yet we didn't win the division and we're going down to the wire after losing two games. At some point Tannehill is gonna need to prove that he can compete. The question remains, can he?

Now I'm not demoting Tannehill because in all fairness, like Mariota, he doesn't exactly have experienced coaches to work with. It just goes to show you that changing QBs was not the answer. We had a good QB, not anymore.

I think the Texans play their starters until halftime (at least their stars) if the Chiefs win.

No need for them to risk injury when they've already clinched the 4th seed, assuming the Chiefs win, but knowing our luck this is where Rivers goes 26/28 for 341 yards and 5 TD's in an upset win over KC, forcing the Texans to play for the 3rd seed. Because I'm sure the Texans would love to host the Steelers or Colts.

That Chargers at Chiefs game is going to be crucial.

Of course Rivers will ball out cuz he wants to come to Tennessee. The only thing standing in his way of that is Tannehill.

If the Titans choke and lose 3 n a row to lose a playoff spot - Here comes Rivers lol hope not but still ... just a theory.

Essentially this is a huge game for Tanny. Get it done boy.

Vrabel could be rolling the dice much like he did with Henry and keeping him out until the playoffs if the Titans make it. He doesn’t say much when it comes to injuries which is frustrating as hell as a fan because nobody knows what’s going on. But listening to him the past few weeks saying he was close and at one point even suggesting AJ might be used on 3rd down situations only makes me think it comes down to pain tolerance. I don’t think AJ is going to be 100% if he comes back, just a matter of finding that happy medium of just playing through it and being somewhat productive. We’ll know soon enough.

Tanny is fine. If we were to lose, I'm pretty sure it won't be because of Tannehill.

Win or lose, it's Tannehill's team from here on out :)
