That sucks. I really enjoyed The Martian. Guess I'll move on to Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson. Any fans of fantasy definitely need to read his Stormlight Archives series.

Yo I literally just finished Way of Kings and am quarter way through Radiance

Really great! I'm listening on audiobook during work.

If ya'll like fantasy then I highly recommend The First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie. I just finished the second book and it's fantastic.

Yep, I am a big fan of Joe Abercrombie. I personally feel like "The Heroes" is his best book yet.

Bloody-nine is up there with my favorite fantasy characters ever.

Read a couple lately....

Bind, Torture, Kill about the BTK killer. It was very, very good. A real page turner. One of the better true crime books I've ever read.

Into the Wild. I imagine most are familiar with the story/book/movie. It was interesting but, despite only being about 200 pages, still felt like it had too much filler.

Just about the finish The Last Argument of Kings.

Set my reading goal for 52 books this year. I read 58 last year.

Graphic Novel but it's so good I figured I'd post here. Maus. Been meaning to read it for several years and finally got around to it. Wow. Beautiful, sad, and surprisingly funny at times. Easy, quick read and well worth checking out for anyone who hasn't already.

Smashing through books this year. Currently reading The Pillars of the Earth, I started it yesterday but it's really good and flying through it so far.

Well I finally committed and decided to read Stephen King's It. All 1,100+ pages. This is gonna take awhile. I hope it lives up to all the hype.

Currently rereading Jurassic Park. It's my favourite book of all time.

I recently read a book called Vicious which is a book about 2 friends who work out how to get super powers and then betray each other. Quite a good book.

i read Ready Player One and then went to see the movie....

book was okay, generic ending but it was ight.

the movie is NOTHING like the book... i cant stress how not similar they are. they use the same names and the contest concept and thats about it.

Loved Pillars and WWE. The third book isn’t worth using as toilet paper.

Understand. I usually follow an epic with something mindless. Fantasticland is a pretty fun book I recently read.
I tend to do that. Any book that is intensive or long I try to find a shorter, popcorn flick type book.

That's funny. I had my next book narrowed down to Jurassic Park and It. Went with It but JP will likely be next.
Both books are very good. I just finished reading The Alchemist. Interesting take on life in that the universe finds a way to give you what you want the most.

I'm about 200 pages into It. And it's still all character development. I'm enjoying it nonethless but hopefully things get rolling soon.
