More weight on a dude that already can't physically handle his current weight?

Probably not wise.

Not going to make or break him. We went through this when he lost weight last offseason...

Ah yes, so he added "good" weight....That usually means brain weight or co ck weight right?

Hate to be ‘that guy’ - but Stanford injury prone? When has he missed A game?? How long has it been. Mariota gets injured and stays out multiple games . I’d take a qb who can play through them at the very least.

Going into 2011 season, he was thought to be injury prone. People thought he was damaged, a bust. Pretty much the way people talk about Mariota here. Injuries cast an ugly shadow over his first couple seasons, and the whole injury prone thing kinda stuck. He's obviously found ways to minimize his risk since then, and has remained on the field consistently.

Yeah I'm sure laying off the spam casserole made him suck at football. Brilliant observation.
Most guys his size dont survive a season at 215, he needs the extra weight just to make it thru December

Did you look at the boy by week-16? Dude looked like a homeless Muslim. Of course hes gonna collect a pile of injuries at 205-210 in the NFL

5-10 lbs wasn't going to stop a nerve injury or knee or ankle or. . . You get the point. A few pounds has nothing to do with Mariotas injury history.

10 extra lbs to throw around is always good when you're as physical as he is
