I like that anything other than t-shirt and jeans you guys consider "funny".
Good lord... get out of your little town a bit.
:yes:If you dress yourself up, you want people to look at you. And most "dudes" DGAF about people "looking at them". Most dudes want to be judged on their performance at whatever they do. They want to be good at work, providing for their family, or personal achievements.
Unfair as it is, our society judges women off of their appearance or "sex appeal". When you rant about "looking good" or being "good looking" you come off completely as effeminate. At least how I see it. And effeminate isn't a bad thing except your damn narcissism comes out and you start spouting off about being "right " (which you aren't) all the time and nobody can take you seriously.
That's retardedKey words: "Circa 1996"
Hey bud. That was 20 years ago...
20 years ago, Henry would have been a great pick.
Today? No.
DW happened. Are you surprised though?!Wtf happened in this thread?

This makes no sense. There is nothing wrong in taking pride in the way you dress or how you want to present yourself. The same way as someone might take pride in their work or achievements as you said.
If that was the case, and to stay on topic with the thread. Why didn't Derrick Henry attend the Heisman ceremony in b-ball shorts and a tank top? Clearly he was there because he was good at his work and achievements. Saying that there is no need for him to want good to look as well?
It makes complete sense. Sure, your form is an indicator of your substance. If you're unkempt, sloppy or fat, one can surmise you're not interested (or too lazy) in projecting who you are.
Dressing so others are attracted to because of your appearance rather than your performance is a very effeminate and NOT masculine trait. Traditionally, performance IS the primary trait by which men are judged by other men and women.
did he wear chick shoes and a racoon tail?
yeah its generally more subtle, but that is essentially what some people doThis is spot on. That's why I always tape a copy of my bank statement and my latest performance review to my forehead any time I leave the house.
Effective, but not very foppish, for those that lean that way. This is spot on. That's why I always tape a copy of my bank statement and my latest performance review to my forehead any time I leave the house.
Dude...
Do you not understand how much faster LBs and DLmen are now compared to 20 years ago?
The game changes. Allow your opinion to do the same, or you'll just continue looking foolish.
The guy defends Bishop Sankey....End of story. If Dunce Detroit GED Wayne is so up and hip with the times why was he so against Cam Newton back in 2011? He didn't consider Cam worth a draft choice then.
Isn't Cam the poster player for how the league is different today from what it was in 1996?
So he has no clue. He hates Henry because he is a Bama-SEC player.
