Well it's settled.

MM8 > Brady

Shut the forum down.

“Obviously, he’s the G.O.A.T. That’s that simple,” Humphries said, via Travis Haney of TheAthletic.com. “But there’s so much that factors into a decision. It was a four-year deal. Who knows how many [years] he’s got left. There’s a lot that goes into it.

“Obviously the chance to play with him would have been awesome, but a lot of things factor into that decision. Ultimately, I thought this was coming here to a team that was on the rise and with young talent on the offense and a really good defense. They’d had a taste of the playoffs. I felt like my need at the slot position was great. I felt like I could really contribute and start something new here.”

It’s an easy decision. If he wanted to play catch with an old man, he could just ask his dad to throw the football around after thanksgiving lunch

He's here because Robinson supported him since day 1 and had a big influence on him sticking to the Bucs' roster after being an UDFA

thats a lot of assuming you are doing there
We have no QB under contract after this year. I doubt that was a more advantageous situation than playing with Brady, no matter his age. And Humphries mentioned that while talking about his decision to come here

Vindy hasn’t reached this far since his wife put the cookie jar against the wall on the counter instead of right up front

who is the young talent on the offense that he is referring to, outside of corey davis and maybe henry? not mariota??? I'm sure a WR wouldnt care AT ALL about who will be actually throwing him passes huh?

lol dont even bother responding, i've made my point. WRs choose QBs and humphries chose mariota. dont let it hurt ya feelings too bad. we have a qb WRs want to catch passes from, it's a good thing.

Keep in mind these are the same people that can take a direct quote from Vrable like "MM is our starter" and somehow infer it's an open competition.

We all know Mary is the starter, just a matter of when he goes down.....

If a guy signs with KC, he's going to be a little more specific about the "young talent". He's here because of Robinson, the fact that there is a clear, defined role for him here, and also that he doesn't need a good QB because he mostly occupies shorter areas of the field. We haven't even committed to Mariota, why would he?

We do have young talent, all we need is a good qb. Never once does he say specifically it was cause mariotas a good young qb he’s excited about playing with.

Keep reaching reachmaster

How many more yards/tds has Brady had over mariota last year, last two years? If he’s picking which qb gonna get him the better stats he def chose wrong

Reeeaaach

We offered more money. End of story

Humphries doesn't need a GOAT to throw him the ball. He just needs a QB who can throw an accurate 5 yard pass, as over 50% of his yardage comes after the catch.

Humphries is a 600 yard a year guy anyway right? Not like he is some elite receiver anyway. I get the fact Brady is old and won’t be there long, but that makes zero sense. Brady makes white average receivers great....Better chance at SB. Available...consistent....list goes on. Literally best QB of all time status. Clearly Vrabel and money had something to do with it....
