I started this up last year towards the end of the year and got some good feed back so I figured I’d start it back up in the beginning of the year. Some people on here don’t like PFF in terms of determining stats for whatever reason but I’ve yet to find another football data base that breaks down the game statistically the way they do. If you know of any feel free to share or if you don’t give a sh*t that’s fine too, feel free to skip over this thread. Whatever stats that pop up from the Titans on my news feed that I subscribe to I’ll post along with other stats from other teams/players. I’m a stats guy and I know a few other people enjoy it as well especially regarding the Titans and how they stack up against the other teams weekly.

We all know we’re terrible but it should be fun to see just how bad we really are with facts to back it

Stat: Titans played in the longest game in NFL history at over 7hours

Wooo!! Week 1 and we are already breaking records

And that's the only reason PFF is propped up.

Until someone beats PFF at their own game, itll remain the only show in town and its going to only get more popular.

While Kern is eventually a Titans HoFer, this stat also tells me that the offense couldn't keep it going passed midfield. Gotta take advantage of the good field position (whether marched to or started at) because law of averages tells me there will be more drives stopped early.

After week 1

Titans rank 18th total offense
21st in passing
15th rushing

Defensively
17th total defense
13th passing
20th rushing

#Titans top-graded players against the Dolphins
TE Delanie Walker 79.5
LB Will Compton 77.3
LG Quinton Spain 76.9
S Kenny Vaccaro 76.3
DI Jurrell Casey 76.2

As bad as the lack of pressure was, there was worse believe it or not.
Delanie being the top player is just adding to my post game blues :(

I really didn't expect much more from our pass rush with neither Landry nor Evans on the field. It's been evident for the past few years that Rak is slowing down and Morgan isn't a pass rusher. The reason we took those guys 1 and 2 were to bring in some young blood pass rushers.

Getting Landry back out there will help immensely from what he showed in the preseason, and Evans was a dominant pass rusher at Alabama. So I'm not too worried in the long run, but we need to get guys healthy.

I heard that there was Davis was close to the top of all receivers as far as separation was concerned.

Davis quietly had a good game. 6 for 62 yards I think. If he just averages that for the rest of the season, he's just under 1,000 yards and 70+ receptions.
